The staff were pleasant and helpful. Th resort was quiet and relaxing. It was close to several beaches. There is one restaurant that had a nice vibe. The main swimming pool was closed for repairs for our week. The weight room was not operational and was in poor shape. The bed was very firm.
What an oasis this place is! The rooms were spacious and AC worked great. The resort is quiet, but the pool is amazing and refreshing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The kitchen had the main things needed to cook; however, I would recommend more plates/bowls, etc so you don’t have to run the dishwasher every night. There was a washer and dryer in the room as well and a full size fridge. It’s in walking distance of two restaurants, one on the resort, Dolphin Cove, which you must have a reservation for. The other is LaRoc (about a 15 min walk). Highly recommend stopping by the grocery store before you come. A great place to stay!
This resort is super blessed by nature. The beach is beautiful, the water is definitely one of the most beautiful things you will see. My goal for this trip was basically to relax and do absolutely nothing. I managed to achieve my goals, so I am happy. But if you are looking for something different, you may not be so lucky. I was super open-minded, I think that helped me to be satisfied with my experience. - The room is large and comfortable, the bathroom is a decent size. The water pressure is not ideal, but showering there for just for one week is ok. Shampoo/soap and conditioner are not good, bring your own. The air conditioning was ok, the noise was not an issue for me, but due to the power outages, the generator does not support the use of the air conditioning, which means that during the period when the power is not being provided by the company, we did not have air conditioning. We stayed in #1255, and one night after the power went out, everything came back on except the A/C, it was too late to ask for it to be fixed, so in short, it was a TERRIBLE night's sleep. Other than that, it was okay. - Mosquitos will eat you alive. Use repellent many times per day. - The activities are cool, kayaking, SUP, trapeze, shows at night and music after the show. Due to the weather, we only got to do kayak one day at the beginning of the week, than the water was too ”violent” and lots of wind. It's pretty cool for a 3.5 ⭐ to have these options of activities included. I wasn't in the mood to party during this trip, so it wasn't a problem for me that the disco was closed and they had the ”party” next to the bar. The shows and parties were almost empty every night during the week I was there, but those who wanted to have fun, had fun. - The drinks were ok. Not the best, but drinkable. Ralph and Pedro are the best bartenders! They work hard, are kind and funny. - The food was a little disappointing. I expected more variety. I was expecting to have more fruits, but what we had daily was melon, watermelon, pineapple and sometimes orange and apple. NO mango, papaya, grapes, strawberries, fruit salad, etc... Breakfast was just slices of bread, no croissants or any other kind of bread, no bacon and the cheese was basically Kraft cheese. Good point, they had someone making omelets. They also had the same kind of fruit as the other meals. No fresh juice, not even at breakfast. And the juice from the machine is horrible. I heard that the coffee at the bar was much better than the one from the buffet. Snack bar is a joke. And at least for the week that we were there, there was no pizza late night. Overall, the food was just ok, every day we had a few rice and pasta options for lunch and dinner, and chicken/pork or beef. We literally had sauteed cabbage one day and cabbage lasagna the next.. Do you know what I mean?! A la carte restaurants doesn't open every night, the app doesn't work for booking, so we needed to book it with the front desk. Staff fro
