Great hotel, very good location close to the shops/restaurants and wine farms. Room 6 was great very spacious and very comfy beds. One issue was the blind in the upstairs room didn’t work meaning we couldn’t close them. Apart from that lovely stay! Would highly recommend!

Wir waren 2 Nächte im August in franschoek im The Ivy . Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und geht über 2 Stockwerke . Wir hatten Glück und die Tage waren sehr warm Nachts war es Mega kalt . Die Wohnung kühlt schon aus , aber sie ist super ausgestattet. Es gibt 2 Klimaanlagen die man anstellen kann und Heizdecken im Bett. Falls man immer Noch friert gibt es noch einen heater. So wurde es wirklich mollig warm . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt , da man zu Fuß alles erreichen kann. Es gibt eine süße Bäckerei in der Nähe und sogar einen Barber für die Herren . Die Autos sind sicher untergebracht. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt

These are serviced apartments in the heart of Franshoek. We stayed in apartment No 4. Our apartment had 2 balcony’s, overlooking the Main Street and mountains. Secure parking provided. Lovely apartments and great location. Washing machine in the room and tumble dryer in the laundry room. Our room had a dining room with kitchen and separate bedroom. Good choice if staying in Franshoek.

Little gem of a place. Quirky apartments . We had a two bed apartment. Note main bed is on duplex open plan upstairs. 2nd bedroom was small without aircon. Very comfortable apartment, good range of kitchen utilities. Welcome pack was a nice touch. Location was ideal in the centre of town of Franschhoek. 8 minute walk to tram station for wine tram. Parking on sight . Staff very friendly . Have the impression it was run by just a few staff . Note- bar across road plays live music - not too late and it didn’t cause us a problem but be aware. Perhaps in need for a freshen up with repainting etc . Overall very good

The apartment is centrally located. Easy walk to all restaurants, bars and the wine tram station. The apartment (#2) was bright and spacious The rooms were all clean and well equipped. There were two outdoor areas for the apartment but they didn’t have much of a view. There was plenty of secure parking on site. It was perfect for the three of us, or potentially four people.

Having spent 9 nights in apartment 9, I am disappointed in the lack of facilities .Upper level air conditioning did not work for the first 7 days. we had to sleep downstairs. there was NO operating instructions for any equipment or tv and no instructions for telephone or alarms. Sharp tile on shower entry, Cords on blinds were so tangled we could not operate them. Downstairs toilet cupbord falling apart. Lounge drawer and adjacent cupboard were stuck permanently. No use of pool for first 5 days due to water leak and pool not clean. the whole pool area was dirty. Half of outside terrace was plain concrete , with no lounger or sun bed or umbrella shade. Gas tap on cooker broken. did not use. The complex manager, wellington did his best and his efforts to resolve the issues appreciated, however the apartment needed a thorough makeover.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Ivy Apartments. The quality of the accommodation was second to none, beautiful location in the center of town close to restaurants, bars and all amenities and so peaceful and quaint. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Franschoek should definitely consider the Ivy! 5 Star accommodation

This was our fourth visit to Franschoek The Ivy is a stunning set of apartments. Safe enclosed parking and high security access. Very convenient for the time and for the Wine tram which is only 300 m away. Wellington was a delight and the most helpful manager.

The Ivy Apartments is located in a very convenient area; central to restaurants, bike rentals, wine tram. The room was large, but dated. The closets and furnishings(blinds) are in need of replacing. Our room was also located across from a noisy restaurant with outdoor seating. So if you are looking for something more private and quiet this might not be a good choice. The manager who checked us in and out was friendly and professional. There is garage parking behind a private entrance; so your care is secure. The apartment also did not supply any kitchen towels or sponge for the sink. The bathroom was surprisingly very small in comparison to the size of the bedroom and living room area. There were two balconies, but not private as they look onto the road and other buildings.

Very freindly staff. Clean rooms. Ideally situated between the wine tram and the Town centre. Wellington was also extremely helpful when we arrived and departed.

We were 2 couples that spend 2 days at Ivy Apartments. It is very centrally located and with in walking distance of everything, good Restaurants and the wine tram The apartment is beautifully decorated. It offered everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. We will definitely stay there again .
