Great service from the manager- clean and well kept premises. Great location for Bastille festival.

Great hotel, very good location close to the shops/restaurants and wine farms. Room 6 was great very spacious and very comfy beds. One issue was the blind in the upstairs room didn’t work meaning we couldn’t close them. Apart from that lovely stay! Would highly recommend!

Wir waren 2 Nächte im August in franschoek im The Ivy . Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und geht über 2 Stockwerke . Wir hatten Glück und die Tage waren sehr warm Nachts war es Mega kalt . Die Wohnung kühlt schon aus , aber sie ist super ausgestattet. Es gibt 2 Klimaanlagen die man anstellen kann und Heizdecken im Bett. Falls man immer Noch friert gibt es noch einen heater. So wurde es wirklich mollig warm . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt , da man zu Fuß alles erreichen kann. Es gibt eine süße Bäckerei in der Nähe und sogar einen Barber für die Herren . Die Autos sind sicher untergebracht. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt

Everything about the beautiful apartment was exceptional! Cleanliness, professional, friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect for those using the Wine Tram; also plenty excellent restaurants close by. Camera equipment was left behind, and within an hour of us leaving, Wellington phoned to inform us of its whereabouts. We returned to collect it, and he was looking out for our car arriving. Wellington’s honesty was greatly appreciated, but he just saw it as part of his job.

We traveled with friends on their first trip to South Africa.The Ivy apartments are in a great location to all the streets of Franschhoek. Wellington was extremely helpful in getting us oriented and settled. The downstairs room was very small and hot as there is no air conditioning in that room and you must close the door to get by the bed. The pillows were quite hard and sheets could be of better quality. We were only there for 3 nights so we could accept it.

Amazing location with top of the line amenities and furnishings … very upscale place with the friendliest most accommodating staff in the very best location in Franschoek… fully equipped kitchen even with a washer dryer, and lovely private balconies overlooking the lovely little town. A percent apartment stay with everything you could want in the very best of taste … would highly recommend

We had a nice spacious apartment in a very convenient position for 3 nights in Feb ‘25. Although we didn’t use them much the facilities were good. The man in reception was friendly and helpful. Light sleepers might suffer as there was a little noise from the main road position. Also the back up power for load shedding operated the lights and TV only. Forget the TV - sort out the fridge/freezer. Otherwise all was good and we would return.

Decor was lovely. Good central location, safe parking, helpful and friendly staff. Only a plunge pool that was disappointing

This accommodation has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen and large lounge. It was perfect for our needs and, furnished to a very high standard. The receptionist is an asset.

We arrived at the Ivy apartment to be told that although we had booked the apartment we had only entered one guest instead of 2 so were required to pay an extra £120 for our 2 night stay, our error so that was fine but just wanted to mention it for future guests. The 2 bed penthouse apartment was huge and all the towels , linen etc were high quality although the glasses and cups in the kitchenette cupboards was mismatched. The secure parking area was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The load shedding was a pain as it was quite muggy and the air con would go on and off throughout the night but this is out of their control unless they could install generators. The position of the apartments is excellent .

The host is very helpful and helped us with all our luggage straight away. A covered and secure parking space is also available. The location is great and couldn't be more central. The apartments are spacious, clean and many details have been thought of.

Lovely boutique feel to the apartments which had great facilities and plenty of space- with secure parking , we had two balconies facing the evening sun. The host , Wellington , couldn’t do enough to please and was superb we will be back. Franschhoek is a beautiful town with lovely shops and restaurants - as well as great vineyards all very local

The location is ideal, couldn’t ask for better. We unfortunately gave it a 4 out 5, as there are multiple things that could be improved. We stayed in the penthouse - Apt.1. The dishwasher, washing machine does not work. Theirs a huge stain on the couch and this is being camouflaged with an animal print throw over. The apartment is great but need a revamp. All the glasses are different shapes, the decor is very old - was probably mod in its day. It’s very comfy - however if noise is not your thing be mindful theirs a restaurant across that’s very loud. It didn’t bother us too much. I would ask for the basic things to be working and a small investment would make a huge difference.
