Welcome to our brand new home in SummerCamp Beach! This stunning property boasts breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. Step outside and you'll find yourself surrounded by Old Florida beaches, shallow splash pools for children to explore, and pine forests. Take a dip in the ocean or pool, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun. The local area offers plenty of activities, including hiking, biking, or visiting nearby attractions such as Apalachicola or St George Island.We designed our home from the blueprints to the décor to be the dream vacation getaway. Maximizing our coastal views was our number one priority. With the help of our architect, we designed the dual porches facing the coast to provide 800 square feet of outdoor living space. The downstairs porch has seating for large groups to socialize and dine together, while the upstairs porch focuses on quiet spots, such as the bed-swing, to soak in the sunrise with a cup of coffee from the upstairs morning kitchen. The home is stocked with games, pool noodles, and beach chairs to reduce guests packing list and keep the kids entertained throughout your stay. The gated resort-style pool is a quick 3-minute walk from our home. The clubhouse is open to all guests, including changing rooms, showers, restrooms, and patio seating. Free parking is available at the clubhouse if you need to transport lots of pool gear/coolers, etc. Summercamp features two miles of private beach and over 12 beach access points. Morning walks along the community boardwalks are a must! The surrounding areas are truly an escape from a busy life. You won't find any traffic and wait lists for restaurants. Instead, you can visit the quaint town of Carrabelle and visit our local fresh seafood market, antique shops, and restaurants. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and relax.The resort-style pool is a quick 3-minute walk from our home. The clubhouse is open to all guests, including changing rooms, showers, restrooms, and patio seating. Free parking is available at the clubhouse if you need to transport lots of pool gear/coolers, etc. This home is dog friendly! The pet fee covers a deep cleaning required after any pets to ensure maximum cleanliness for the next guest. Please respect local leash laws, but feel free to bring your furry friend to the pet friendly beach. A maximum of two dogs allowed.The main house features four bedrooms, each one with a queen-sized bed. There are also two pull-out sleeper sofas in the upstairs den, which sleep an additional four guests. A total of 12 guests in the main house. This property also features a carriage house with game room and additional livingroom. The carriage house includes a ping pong table and other games for guests to enjoy! Welcome to Face in the Wind! Newly completed construction, this home sits nestled among mature oaks and long leaf pines along a freshwater canal. It's a 3 minute walk to the beach, and has a bike path in front. See ospreys, woodpeckers, white squirrels, and foxes from the full length back porch or canal-side deck. The open floor plan is great for having guests join you on the large kitchen island or relaxing on the two full size couches. The dining table expands to accommodate your entire family. If it’s raining outside, have fun with the included board games for adults and kids, puzzles, or enjoy a movie on the 58” TV with access to online streaming services.The contemporary master suite features a built-in armoire, and through the barn door you'll find double sinks and a roomy walk-in shower. Upstairs features two bedrooms joined by a jack-and-jill bathroom with full tub and double pedestal sinks. One bedroom has a queen bed with custom headboard, with a view of the gulf. The other bedroom has two twin beds and a view of the pine forest and canal.In the closets you’ll find folding luggage racks, iron and ironing board, and a baby gate.There is a gravel RV pad beside the house, with 50 amp electrical service, water, and septic hookup available. The fully-stocked kitchen includes a combo Keurig pod/coffee pot, air fryer, large blender, pots, pans, bakeware, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, and serving platter. Enjoy the beach with the included beach cart, 4 folding chairs, sand toys, boogie board, and beach umbrella. After your fun in the sun, enjoy the outdoor enclosed shower. We have one motion-activated camera on the front porch, and one facing the bottom entrance/parking area. These will remain powered on during your stay. Welcome to Southern Pines Hideaway, our newly constructed vacation home in Summer Camp Beach West, a laidback, waterfront community located in St. Teresa, along Florida’s Forgotten Coast, on Coastal Highway 98 where the pine trees meet the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. The house has water access through a walking path approximately two hundred feet long from the yard directly to the beach.Relax at the community pool, a short five-minute walk from the house, which boasts a great view of the gulf from the pool deck. Other pool amenities include patio seating, restrooms, and a covered, screened porch with ample seating.The area around Southern Pines Hideaway has a lot to offer for the outdoor enthusiast. There is ample saltwater fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, you can fish nearshore, where you can expect to catch redfish, spotted sea trout, flounder, or the occasional tarpon, or many people prefer to venture further offshore to target fish such as grouper, snapper, and cobia.Freshwater fishing is available any of the several nearby rivers, the Carabelle River, Crooked River, Ochlocknee River, Sopchoppy River, Wakulla River, and the mighty Apalachicola River (the second largest river in the United States by volume) are all within a short drive of the house. A boat ramp is located 5.3 miles away at Lanark Boat Club and Marina. Experience hiking and/or hunting in the vast expanse of the Apalachicola National Forest, Tate’s Hell State Forest, Ochlocknee River State Park, or the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. Hunting seasons in much of the area are generously long and uncomplicated, check regulations at http://myfwc.com Search for the Tate’s Hell or Apalachicola Wildlife Management Area (WMA) for rules and regulations. Nearby Wakulla Springs State Park is a geological wonder that offers the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear water of a natural spring.
