Great apartment hotel at the Frankfurt Airport; Spacious modern rooms equipped with kitchenette containing all utensils to cook yourself, including a microwave/oven. Clean. Have breakfast or dinner in the restaurant if wanted or buy food in the nearby Rewe supermarket and cook something yourself. Garage is a bit pricey at EUR 22, but the price of the room made up for that.
Didn't reply to the hotel's pre-arrival request for guest information, and while waiting (a long time) to check-in I couldn't see or figure out what the benefits would have been if I'd completed that pre-arrival form. The free shuttle bus stand at Frankfurt airport was almost impossible to find in all the stupid construction zones and I arrived at the hotel well after midnight. (If anybody ever tries to mention how efficient the Germans are, I'll present Frankfurt airport as glaring evidence to the contrary.) It was 50/50 with the hotel check-in staff: the gent at the non-aircrew part of the front desk took ages with the young family who sounded like they were repeatedly asking for something that was not possible. Those of us in the queue behind grew increasingly despaired - would any of us actually be able to use the hotel rooms we paid for that night? I was the third person who abandoned this hopeless queue and went to the ”aircrew only” part of the desk for help. Much much better! Checked in quickly with pleasant small talk to boot and I was in my comfortable room a few minutes later. When checking out the next morning I half expected to see that tedious young family still arguing with the front desk.
訪訪客Loved this hotel. If we came back to Frankfurt we would stay here again. It’s in a great location that’s walkable to everything. It’s essentially city center and there is a ton to do just outside of your doorstep. The service was perfect, everyone is really friendly and helpful. They offer a nice breakfast in the morning. Hotel always smells fresh and clean. The room is really nice with a comfy bed and big bathroom. This is connected to the moxy hotel and the moxy bar/lounge is open 24/7 which is really cool because it’s set up nicely for if you want to eat, play games, just relax, etc. it’s really easy to get a taxi since they can call one for you or you can use the taxi call machine up by the front desk. Tap once for cash and twice for card payment. Super easy. Just a heads up: sometimes they forget to tell you that your room key controls the electric in the room so if you don’t already know this, don’t panic if nothing works when you get in your room at first. You have to slide one of the room keys in the card holder inside of your room next to the front door and everything turns on. Loved that because it’s a great way to save energy. Full kitchen and utensils, cups, cookware, dishwasher, fridge in room if you want to save on food and cook in your room. They also have laundry available if you need to do laundry which you can get tokens for for a couple euro. I just loved this place and the location.
訪訪客This was not the first stay at the Hilton in Frankfurt; we stayed back in 2013 for the Christmas Markets and decided to stay again in 2022. The hotel is an ideal location and only a short ten-minute walk to the markets in Frankfurt during Christmas. We opted for a King Executive Room with Executive Lounge access. A small selection of beers, wines and spirits was available in the evening in the lounge, with light snacks if you wanted something to eat. The lounge is not self-service like our previous visit, but the staff were excellent, and we didn't have to wait long to get drinks. Check-in was quick, but once again, no upgrade was offered as a Hilton Honours Gold Member, but breakfast was complimentary due to Gold status. The room was clean and comfortable, not exceptionally spacious, but we didn't spend much time in the room apart from sleeping. Another enjoyable stay, and we would recommend the hotel for a stay, particularly at Christmas.
訪訪客We stayed two nights at this hotel. We arrived early from our US flight and the staff was able to get us a room immediately, even though it was a few hours before check-in time. We really appreciated this, since we were all tired after the long flight and had two tired kids in our party. Their breakfast is really good and well stocked and clean. We enjoyed it on both mornings. This hotel is some ways from the airport and it is around 40 Euros one way in a cab or Uber. Romer (city center) is around 10-15 minutes from here (around 12 Euros in Uber). We were able to experience Frankfurt's wonderful Christmas market on 2 days conveniently from this hotel. The best part about this hotel was the staff. They were really welcoming, helpful, professional and took pride in their jobs. Every interaction with the front desk was awesome and the lady who manages the breakfast area was working very hard to keep the area clean and the food well stocked. Kudos to the staff of this hotel! We did notice two small issues with this hotel. One issue is that there's no restaurants or groceries nearby. It seems like an industrial area. To mitigate this, the hotel does have Pizza available in the evenings. The second issue was that the rooms were too warm. Since AC is not on during winters, the only option to make the room temperature more acceptable was to open the windows, which made the room noisy because of cars driving fast in the street nearby. The blankets provided were more like comforters and so we couldn't use them at all. The hotel should find a way to fix this issue. In all, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely consider it, if we plan to spend time closer to the city center.
訪訪客The hotel has a great vibe, somewhat industrial with glass and metal elements. Darker shades of colors throughout give a settled but cozy atmosphere. Breakfast staff was very friendly, Bastien welcomed me. The restaurant is big enough - was a little busy. The selection is very good, they even have began cold cuts. The bircher musli was great. Proper cups and mugs 😂 so one can enjoy a good hot beverage.
訪訪客My first impression was not bad, but it got worse and worse. I was able to check in early, which was aprreciated, but nothing was explained to me about any facilities of the hotel. I hence had some bad surprises during my stay that could have been avoided. Our room was so noisy, with mediocre music vibrating through the room until very late and very loud. it was impossible to sleep, which is a shame when you stay in a hotel. I kind of expect to get a good night sleep in a hotel. I slept 2 hours. We first thought there was a nightclub nearby but I then discovered that it is actually the bar of the hotel right underneath our room!! Why?? I discovered just now reading recent tripadvisor reviews that the bar is smoker friendly. That explains why a smell of smoke prevailed in the lobby and corridor upstairs aswell!! I thought the hotel was non smoking. Had I known, I would have never booked, since I have a hatred for smoke. It could at least have been mentioned during the checkin. Finally, during the checkout, the cold receptionist didn't even ask me how was my stay (basics!!), so I didn't have the chance to express my disappointment. A positive point would be the 5€ voucher given if you choose to decline housekeeping.
