We had a two night stay at the Inn and were pleased with the room and restaurant. If I have to criticize then the breakfast spread is a little thin, and I don’t even eat bacon or scrambled eggs (none were even there). The cereal was filled with sugar. Dinner was great and the bar downstairs was nice as well.

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. We had the Inn Suite that has a mini fridge, small sink and a little counter space. We had a balcony that faces the horse pasture. My kids enjoyed the pool and we played a game in the game room. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday but there is information about local restaurants. There is free continental breakfast and ours also included make your own waffles. We would stay here again.

We have been coming here for years and apparently it’s been under new ownership for 3 years. Renovations to the inn itself were nice but it’s lost its charm and it’s the little things that add up to alot that were lost.The breakfast buffet and menu used to be amazing now it’s on par with a corporate chain free breakfast big downgrade. They used to have a nice fireplace going in the downstairs area now they can’t be bothered to keep it on. Same with the heated outdoor pool it’s there but they keep it closed not wanting to maintain it. The bar pub area in the basement was nice to relax in now they kick you out at 9:30 pm apparently it’s a senior home where everyone goes to bed at 10. It’s a great location and quaint inn but I miss the previous owners these new ones seem kind of cheap with their guests.

Charming Inn amidst the beautiful White Mountains of NH. We are so glad to have found this place! We had a delicious meal in the pub, and with my thanks to the chef for accommodating my dietary restrictions, enjoyed live music while we were dining, and then relished a beautiful early morning trail ride with Juliette on my new favorite horse, Branch. Thank you to the staff and everyone who made our visit so special. We will be back next time we are in NH.

The inn's idyllic location provided breathtaking views, an abundance of activities (hiking trails, horseback rides, great food!) and amenities, and a staff with a genuine care and superb attention to detail. We felt so comfortable, cozy, and the experience here was nothing short of awesome. Cannot wait to return for another unforgettable getaway!

Had such a great second stay at the Franconia Inn! For this second trip, our group doubled in size, so we stayed in the cottage onsite. The cottage accommodations were perfect for our group. There are two levels that are connected, but also have separate entrances. The rooms were incredibly spacious and immaculately clean. Each floor has a separate kitchen space, as well. In addition to the open indoor space, the cottage features a large patio outside and separate parking. Waking up to seeing the Inn’s horses freely grazing in their open field was such a refreshing way to start the day. It is obvious that the owners are passionate about encouraging their guests to experience all that the area has to offer. They are fantastic resources for recommendations for people who are newer to exploring the outdoors, as well as to avid adventurers. With so many options for things to do, either onsite via their outdoor activity center or only a short drive away, there is truly something for everyone. It was so exciting to see all of the new renovations that the owners have been working on since our last stay. It is evident that they are prioritizing maximizing guest experience with each new update. Everything about the experience of staying at the Franconia Inn feels quaint and authentic. I strongly encourage future guests to use the Inn setting as an opportunity to reset, recharge and reconnect with nature. I can’t wait to return for a third stay!
