Nothing wrong with the Premier Inn itself, up to the usual standard. We arrived on two motorbikes for a one night stopover and by 11:30pm thieves with boltcroppers had attempted to steal them. We are so grateful to the member of staff on duty overnight who saw them and prevented the theft. Would advise you don't stay here with motorbikes. From conversation with the police later, maybe avoid anywhere in Duram for an overnight stop with motorbikes.

One of the best premier inn stays by far, could not fault the service and cleanliness of the hotel Staff were excellent and the rooms spotless, We had one of the best nights sleep - beds are AMAZING! Breakfast was lovely, really enjoyed the buffet breakfast Perfect location for what we needed and we will most likely be back

Me and my friend stayed here for the Great North run weekend. I did not realise when I booked I had only booked it as a double room instead of a twin room, but the staff were lovely and set up the extra bed for us no problem. The check in was quick and easy. On the morning of the run the receptionist had set up a table with water and an energy bar for us to help ourselves to and when we returned later that evening the table had been updated with a hot chocolate sachet, some biscuits and some bubble bath! What a lovely thing to do and greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The hotel was very good the team very friendly .My only down side was we had to pay more for our room because we did not book on line. The food in the BREWERS FAYER Breakfast was good good choice . Evening meal first one was good the second was not.
