LITTLESTEPS recently refurbished one of the top three 'best places to live' in Britain by Country Life magazine. Fowey is a bustling sailing port on the Fowey Estuary, set in stunning countryside, with dramatic beaches nearby. Known for its sailing, walks, stunning views, and vibrant streets, Fowey is a gem in Cornwall and inspiration to many of Daphne Du Maurier's books. It is also home to the annual Du Maurier literary festival and the Royal Sailing Regatta. Fowey has an eclectic mix of independent shops and colourful restaurants, pubs etc. Apart from the sailing Fowey has access to some of Cornwalls fantastic beaches, kayaking, stunning walks and within easy reach of Eden project. Please note that these are non-smoking cottages. Next door is Longsteps which can sleep up to five people. Both of these properties can be rented out together to accommodate the larger party.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 50 lbs per pet (limit one pet total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Rubbish: Please put Rubbish out on the Wednesday night for collection Thursday am, or take it home with you. Any rubbish left will be charged a £15.00.During July and August and any school holidays our ideal changeover day is a Saturday,We only accept a maximum of one Dog.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.

Fowey im September
schönes kleines Cottage sehr zentral gelegen, aber trotzdem ruhig. Leider kein Parkplatz am Haus, war aber auch so beschrieben, es kann jedoch am Haus aus und eingeladen werden.

It’s a wander full place full of charm beauty It was no view of the river as described. The trees covered all The trees are there huge The picture taken was not accurate (did talk to locals about The unit was clean neat well organized but the stairs to the bed room were very steep Should have been mentioned I am 82 years old) Just mention itM so one can take his own decision I handèle it but was scary and difficult Accidents can happen Communication Expected to be direct not through VRBO. but Mark was very good In responding Thanks The village is a pearl of the Cornwall.

Top spot
Location was great, so quick to walk into town, waterfront and the boat trips. Lovely to have outside space to enjoy.

Perfect weekend
Great location and well set up with everything you would need. Lovely comfy bed and couldn’t be more convenient for getting into the town. Couldn’t help but notice a couple of things though. The microwave didn’t cook which was frustrating and we noticed the cleaner turned up with a new one as we left so it was clearly something the owner was aware of. The shower leaks from the corner of the tray especially if you use the horizontal part. You can hear the neighbours when sat in the lounge and smell their cooking. Advertised as having parking when we searched for it. This couldn't be further from the truth or more inconvenient for getting in and out with your bags.

Overall basic but pretty good.
A lovely old building with a small, but charming bedroom and a well-equipped kitchen. Owners were on hand to answer any queries quickly which was appreciated. The outdoor space is a bonus and has lovely views from the top decking area. The bathroom could do with some TLC - bit grubby in places, sink is wonky so collects water, shower screen leaks and toilet seat and flush just not fit for purpose. Some hooks in the property would be really useful to hang wet coats and on the back of the bathroom door for a dressing gown. These are the only reasons we would give 5*. We really enjoyed our stay and thought the location was excellent. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and independent shops and the nearby Hall walk was great.
