⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ my favourite hotel in Brisbane

Having had the chance to stay at The Calile on a few occasions I can’t fault the property/ facilities but more importantly the staff and service. Every single team member goes the extra mile with friendly service.

The staff were amazing. In plentiful supply and all excellent. The restaurants were lovely. The rooms on the second floor are quite noisy on a Friday and Saturday evening. The rooms are lovely, but not as amazing as I have been led to believe. The library was quite disappointing for a luxury stay.

The Calile is the only place to stay in Brisbane. High end accommodation, impeccable service and facilities and all the best river city restaurants within walking distance.

Beautifully designed hotel, but overrun We had a lovely stay, barring our experience at the pool. The hotel is stunningly designed, with every aspect considered and beautiful - including its main feature - the pool, is probably one of the nicest designs I’ve seen. However the pool area is much too small for the size of the hotel / number of guests, so it felt cramped and was difficult to get even a sun lounger to share let alone two for two people. There were also a ton of families - which I love children, but this is not a pool where there’s space for jumping, splashing and playing - where kids are running along the sides constantly and screaming. It was that full at some points that you couldn’t swim, you could dip and stand but it was so full of people that the water actually looked a bit cloudy from all the sunscreen and people in the water. It slightly ruined my experience as I’d so looked forward to staying at this hotel, having travelled from the UK, and enjoying the facilities of the hotel. Otherwise the spa is top notch, as was Hellenika where we had dinner.

The overall experience was excellent. The customer service was amazing and the staff were wonderful. My only issue is the children -at the pool could get a bit unruly. I am all about family, but some of the kids were splashing and kicking quite a bit, with no parental intervention. My partner and I ordered champagne bottle service and meals at our bedside lounge chairs and I’d rather not have pool water splashed or kicked into them.
