鄉村旅館民宿(Country Inn Bed and Breakfast)

I was not expecting to be so blown away. From the pics it seems very granny style and older but don’t be fooled, it’s amazing! We stayed in Summertime - so cozy, cute, and clean. We could tell there was a lot of thought that went into the room. The king bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in, and I am picky about beds! The bathroom was decent and clean. There was a little artificial cozy fireplace but it also heats the room. Room came with toaster oven, microwave, kettle, wine glasses, and much more!! Unfortunately fort Bragg was gloomy and we were on a road trip chasing the sunny weather so we only stayed one night but would have definitely loved to stay more! I highly recommend. It’s a fun and comfy place to try.

My visit to Fort Bragg was in part a anniversary of my first "getaway", for which I chose Fort Bragg for long forgotten reasons, back in 1961, which was just 18 year old. I had the upstairs front room, the Summertime, very relaxing, everything comfortable. There was not television in the room, just fine with me, as I gave up my home TV over 20 years ago and still don't miss it. Being November, I used the heater for half an hour or so each day. As for air-conditioning, it is never needed in Fort Bragg, and besides, I've never lived in a home with air-conditioning, even in the hot summers in Tehran. There is some traffic noise in the front rooms, but having crown up in New York City that didn't bother me at all. Fort Bragg is a relaxing place, great for long walks, both in town and inn nearby parks, such as Jughandle and Van Damme. The local park Otis Johnson is about a 25 minute walk from the County Inn, and is spectacular, not the ordinary town park but a tiny wild wilderness, with trails filled with canyons and steps.

We stayed in Chantilly, which was a very small room, but very comfortable. There is everything we need -- boiler, a small table, robes, toiletries, and lots of pillows! It has a very cozy, quaint touch to the interior decor. We did not bump into anyone even other guests during our stay. It felt rather safe in terms of covid. It's so affordable as well. We'll definitely be back to try out the other larger rooms!

We rented three rooms for three couples, for a small family gathering - two upstairs, one downstairs. All three rooms were light and airy, decorated in a comfy-country style. In a concession to COVID protocols, no breakfast was included. This was not a surprise, as it was clearly stated up front. I guess, for now, it's not an AirBnB, just an AirB. The only plumbing is in the bathrooms, so coffee and tea-making is a little cumbersome. There is a microwave oven and toaster-oven in each room, and coffee and tea-making supplies and dishes, etc. Likewise, the lounge has some food-and-beverage preparation things, but no plumbing. The inn fronts on the main thoroughfare, so there is traffic noise. Also, the Skunk Railroad runs nearby, so train horns and railroad crossing bells are frequently heard. With the windows closed, it's not very loud, but it is audible. I use earplugs even at home, so this didn't bother me, and none of our party mentioned it. The inn is an easy walk to downtown, with a variety of shopping and dining options.
