Aucun accueil, aucun service!

Have a look at my photos to get a real idea. I’m the least fussy person ever and as long as I’ve got somewhere to sleep and wash, I’m happy, but this really wasn’t up to scratch at all. Black mold, skimpy old duvet, peeling wallpaper and curtains that wouldn’t shut fully.

Maison classique avec une très belle vue. Très joli salon cosy face à la vue. Chambre très propre et très bonne literie. Très mal insonorisé. Mur mitoyen avec la salle du petit déjeuner, on entendait tout. De même avec les chambres voisines. Petit déjeuner….jambon, fromage et porridge, industriels vendus en grande surface, d’une grande tristesse et sans saveur aucune. Accueil très moyen.

Barring an odd, impersonal check-in experience, this place was perfect for any self-catering traveler that is looking for the bare minimum. Updated, clean rooms with fast wifi directly on the Fort Augustus locks. Recommend!

Posto tranquillo, vicino al centro di Fort Augustus e vicino al lago. Letto comodi. Finestre difficili da aprire. Nel complesso esperienza positiva e rilassante. Appena un po' complicato l accesso fai da te.

You can’t beat this ideal location!’ The room was so clean with great view of the lochs. We walked to a boat for a tour and got to see many boats come thru the lochs— what a lot of work but amazing to watch how the loch system works! Wish the shop below stayed open later(close at 4:30) and opened earlier for those that need a good coffee boost in the morning!! We would definitely stay here again!! Very impressed with the renovations they did on this place! Stair well was nicely lit up . Love this place best of everywhere we stayed in Scotland!
