Great park with great amenities very family oriented I took my small van to an ensuite site it was around $50 for the night absolutely perfect roasting hot shower and very clean my friends stayed in lakeside cabins they were modern and very well equipped

The sunset villa no.11 was absolutely disgusting and not recommending this at all for the money we paid was not good enough! I requested management to review was told ‘it’s fine to open the windows and allow air in’. Mind you it was pouring rain and could not leave windows open. The bedroom slept like wet carpet and very musky. The over all cabin smell was extremely strong chemicals as if it was bleach. Mind you I had my 2 year old with me and obviously could not keep him in here straight away until opening the windows for a few hours while the rain stopped. The smell continued to linger the whole time. I went and purchased my own glen 20 to help this. The stove top did not work I asked a neighbour to come and help me however couldn’t get it to work until she got her lighter and tried that way and it worked. Now i do not smoke if I didn’t have her next door I wouldn’t have been able to use this stove which would have then wasted my food. The wifi internet did not work at all! The light above the dining table did not work and the cabin had multiple little black ants. The flooring was putrid my son had a shower and would walk out in the living/dining and his feet were black by the end of it. The management said to me that they could possibly move me to another sunset villa however would likely be the same with the smell.. I said not to worry however did offer to go to another villa and pay the difference but apparently this was sold out. I then stayed the night and packed up and left the next day. Only stayed the night due to travelling 7 hours from Gold Coast. I have then since requested a refund for compensation. The management have refused and have been extremely rude about this. I would not recommend staying in the sunset villas they are so outdated, poorly managed and disgusting! Not worth the price. This location was also very far on the other side of Forster not near the cafes etc only the Stockland shopping centre.

Enjoy the view of the lake the villa was spacious for 4 adults needed a broom to be able to sweep the floor

As a family of 4 we were placed at the rear of the park, no wifi as stated, on a site that was mainly dirt and covered in heavy machinery tracks, pine needles, seeds and sticks, and backed on to a disgusting smelling sewerage outlet/tidal creek. Requested contact with the manager, was not forthcoming, not even a phone call. $80 a night. Plenty of other sites appeared available, that were in better condition. Facilities unclean, doors to toilets unable to be locked, has gone rapidly downhill since our last visit 2 years ago. We will never be back

AMAZING!!! We had a group of about 20 people stay at this park. The staff were very accommodating and booked us in adjacent cabins. The cabins were exceptionally clean and easily accessible - some with ramps and disability showers. The heating was sufficient for the cold June weather and the bedding was soft and warm. Great parking, with the space to park either 2 cars or a car with a boat trailer at each cabin (very handy for big group stays). The atmosphere was homey with plenty of things to do for the kids and adults. Great location, right on the lake and not too far from town. We will absolutely be staying again and have nothing bad to say about this property.
