Fontana village is amazing. We stayed in 1 bedroom cabin and it was clean and spacious. Hiking in the area is awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. We went to the pool, played mini golf, and explored the resort. We ate at Hazel’s and Quill’s. Both were very good and would recommend. Live music at Quills every night we were here. Would recommend to anyone for a summer getaway! They are currently updating the cabins and can’t wait to see how they turn out next time we visit.

New ownership = Much higher prices! We have stayed at Fontana for over a decade now. We have stayed in 4 different cabins thru the years.. We were excited that they renovated our cabin but then we stayed there… Someone with No Hospitality design experience designed the cabin renovations: Impractical, uncomfortable furniture in the living room. No air in newly renovated bathroom. No vanity lighting, No shelf in closets, Less closets and No dressers to store clothes in?! Could not sleep as someone picked a nice new fabric for windows and not blackout blinds. AC was bad as always. Bad workmanship, cabinet doors falling off still. Could look straight outdoors by the fireplace install. 4 adults could not eat at the new 42” round dining table! We used to have a dinner party in our room but No more!

15 years we've stayed at the Campground. It is adequate but the staff at the Resort Check In, cannot be beat! Specifically Beth! Thanks for all your time and care. The rates have been exceptional but supposed to skyrocket next year. Made reservations for 2025.

Went to Fontana Marina for a wedding reception and Colby the bartender was awesome! I really can tell Brandon and the crew down there at the Marina are putting in hard work and it shows with how nice the marina looks! The pontoons are brand spanking new and fun to drive around! Colby really crafted up my rum drinks and had great stories to tell! Colby for prez!

The resort is in the middle of the Smokey Mountains and beautiful. The remodeled cabins are nice but unfortunately we were not in one. DO NOT stay in cabin 617. Lots of broken things through out the cabin (toilet roll holder, shower door, slow draining shower, doors not shutting completely, the washer and dryer, etc) We were disappointed in the washer and dryer not working as it states on their website that cabin 617 has a washer/dryer. The kitchen table was impossible to sit around. We made due with the table on the front porch but it was small for 5 adults and 2 children. Also the porch was dirty with lots of cobwebs. But the worse were the ANTS!!! We told the front desk and they came and sprayed and we kept all food off the counters but by the end of the week they were everywhere in the kitchen. cabinone

My husband and I have been camping at the Fontana Village campground for years. The cleanliness standards of the restrooms are NONEXISTENT. The restrooms haven’t been cleaned for five days. I reported this to the front desk and they assured it would be taken cared of. Later in the afternoon when I inquired if it ever got cleaned, they said it was. The pics are of how well they “cleaned”. Their standard of cleanliness is seriously making us question whether we want to continue coming here every year. The restrooms are missing side vents to keep the bugs and critters out. The shower walls are covered with mildew. One bathroom door even has graffiti from 1982! It hasn’t been painted since??
