The hotel itself is nice: the facilities are ok, the room is large and comfortable. But the service is most definitely not of a 4 star hotel: coffee at breakfast is cold, the lady at the spa is rude and definitely not happy to work there - she told us to go to the reception to get towels instead of providing them herself, which is her job - the shuttle driver asked us to leave the bus (with 4 little children) so he could fit two adult ladies, the staff forgot to clean our room and when they did they 1) didn't leave any toilet paper 2) they forgot one of their cleaning clothes, we paid 110€ for our new years eve dinner and the food was served cold, we heard one of the waiters commenting in a low voice ”I should punch your head” when he was asked by a customer to bring beers to their table... And I could go on. HG definitely needs to step up their game in terms of service. We will not be coming back.
