Client très régulier (2 fois par mois minimum depuis 4 ans), c'est un établissement possédant beaucoup de charme. Aux antipodes des hôtels de chaînes, vous retrouverez une ambiance chaleureuse et familiale. Les propriétaires vivent sur place. L'hôtel se trouve en face du château de Fontainebleau et la vue des chambres en façade est éblouissante. Les chambres sont dans un style empire qui permet d'apprécier encore plus cette ambiance particulière régnant à Fontainebleau. Pas de restauration sur place mis à part le petit déjeuner mais l'offre de restauration à proximité est énorme.

En voyage avec ma fille, j'ai eu la chance de trouver cet hôtel charmant qui date du milieu du 19 e siècle (pleine période romantique), parfaitement rénové, climatisé, il ne lui manque que l'ascenseur pour être le plus parfait des hôtels, heureusement les chambres sur la cour sont là pour ceux qui ne peuvent monter les étages, et justement si vous montez ce bel escalier d'époque, vous arrivez sur des chambres toutes mignonnes, décorées avec goût et avec une vue splendide sur le château de Fontainebleau. Vous replongez dans le passé et un univers préservé, très confortable, sans luxe tapageur, il est écrit sur la façade que Marcel Proust vous a précédé. Petit déjeuner parfait, personnel aimable et discret, petit parking.

Weekend de reve dans cet hôtel, tout a été parfait ...de l accueil très sympathique et professionnel , magnifique chambre avec vue sur le château...et un petit déjeuner d exception. Je.ne comprend en aucuns cas les commentaires négatifs !!!!

Un processus de réservation en 3 étapes, pas clair, en e-mail envoyé avec pour titre « acceptation de la réservation », sans e-mail additionnel pour saisir les coordonnées bancaires. Faute de quoi ma réservation n’a pas été prise en compte. Lorsque j’ai appelé l’hôtel pour vérifier où en était ma réservation, je suis tombée sur un réceptionniste à l’accueil déplorable et hautain. Après mon appel, j’ai alors reçu un e-mail d’annulation de réservation (que je n’avais pas reçu avant mon appel). A fuir !!!

Visiting our family, in France, we stayed two days at the “Hôtel de Londres” in Fontainebleau. Our stay was just as in a dream and we enjoyed the high quality of the hotel, the amiability of the owners and of the devoted staff. Our room, number 8, was facing the castle and furnished with two, high standard comfortable King-size beds, a large bathroom with an Italian shower, entrance with separation door and all you could expect in such prestigious hotel. That without mentioning the outstanding noise immunity provided by the double glass windows and insulation making the room surprisingly quiet. We took our breakfast at the hotel, which offers a buffet and, if you like French pastry, we highly recommend the delicious croissants and “pains-au-chocolat” absolutely delicious. We also highly appreciated the amiability of the owners and their recommendations on sites to visit and restaurants. The overall hotel is charming, very well located and there is no doubt a place we highly recommend if you visit Fontainebleau. A lovely traditional hotel with charming patrons. We woke up every morning looking directly at the beautiful Chateau. The room was great but a quite challenging manoeuvre in and out of the toilet with an inward opening door. Breakfast was a delight with personal service by the proprietor and had everything you could want, of the best quality. It has been in the same family for three generations and they strive to maintain the traditional atmosphere. They were so helpful and were really nice people. Only issue was the poor wifi in our room. Secure parking and convenient location for exploring the town. Would return without hesitation. Recommended.
