Le site est merveilleux, les chambres sont confortables. Par contre il y a quelques points noirs : la patronne est lunatique et il vaut mieux arriver un bon jour parce qu'elle peut tout à coup décider d'en avoir marre de cuisiner par exemple et vous laisser en plan. J'ai par ailleurs trouvé que c'était très cher par rapport aux prestations proposées. Et enfin si vous avez une chambre le long de la route c'est bruyant et pollué (Hmmm les bonnes vapeurs de pots d'échappement à 6 heures du matin). A cela s'ajoute le défilé nocturne des rastas allumés qui rentrent chez eux en chantant ou en hurlant

Nous avons passé un bon séjour, les chambres sont très sympas , style nature. Les petits déjeuners sont très bons et et l'accueil est sympathique. La végétation est luxuriante. Gros point négatif, le bruit des voitures et klaxons, qui hélas sont très forts.

Je recommande ! Très bel endroit pour séjourner. Les cottages (nous avions la Pako Room) sont très bien décorés, nous avons très bien dormis. L'hotel est situé au milieu de la forêt tropicale, bercé par le bruit des animaux. Oliver et sa femme étaient présents et aux petits soins. Ils nous ont donné des recommandations sur les différents sites que nous voulions visiter. Nous avons diné et pris le petit déjeuner qui est fait maison et local.

We stayed in the treehouse at Cocoa Cottage and it was fantastic surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. It ticked so many boxes for me. The hospitality at Cocoa Cottage was superb and a special thank you to Shaunissa for the wonderful breakfasts providing variety and catering to our vegan/vegetarian requirements. Highly recommended.

My husband and I spent 7 days at Cocoa Cottages and had an amazing experience. We stayed in the largest room on the second floor which was very specious and comfortable. It had a great balcony and beautiful view of the rain forest. There is a stylish shared living room that we used for playing cards. The staff was terrific and took great care of us. Shanista (sp) was a fantastic cook and housekeeper. Her husband (guide) drove us all over and showed us the sights. We rented a car for one day, freaked out and turned it in...being on vacation, we didn't need the stress. The other ladies/chefs were excellent. Dwayne, the gardener, changed a flat tire for us on our rental car! We were up in the mountains so experienced some rain but it never interfered with our plans. We have fond memories of our stay and would highly recommend the cottages.

What a great spot! CC is located in the cool green hills of Dominica's interior. The property is surrounded by jungle and you'll fall asleep to the sounds of the forest. We had a room upstairs in the main building. Nice little balcony. It's should be noted that the bathroom is not a separate room, so you should be well acquainted with your travel partner. Another bathroom located downstairs. Local staff and German owner were friendly and helpful. A good breakfast is provided. Dinner also available upon request. There are a few other places to eat nearby. The only one easily reachable on foot is run by a Haitian family just down the road (simple roadside bar/eatery - order dinner in advance). Don't think about coming up here without a car. They'd be way too much walking along roads in the sun to reach the attractions. I would heartily recommend CC to anyone looking for an atmospheric tropical forest experience. This place (along with Dominica in general) was definitely one of the top highlights of my extensive travels in the Caribbean.
