Nice rooms, excelent breakfast with a view of the lake, very nice waitstaff at breakfast. Reception was hard to find and very uncooperative, they didn't offer advice of where to go for dinner - it was late, and next morning we saw we were very close to the island. Simple hotel but clean, nice and with beautiful gardens and lake views.

Very nice room , simple but complete , very clean . The restaurant serves very good breakfast with a view of the lake . The reception is a little hidden and people appear to leave their post early. Had to look for it . No information was given on where to go for dinner and they forgot to put water in our room. It was ok but the service could be better (except at the breakfast restaurant)

We were disappointed by our stay at the Maya International in Flores. The restaurant has a great waterfront location and the food was very good. The hotel service was very bad. There is no English spoken among the staff. We asked for help with a restaurant reservation and confirmed they understood, but the restaurant did not have any record of the reservation. We had an early departure and needed a transfer to the airport, but despite confirmation of our request, there was no transfer arranged in the morning and they tried desperately but could not find a last minute ride for us. Luckily, a worker drove us in his truck or we would have missed our flight. I can not recommend this hotel.

Hice un viaje en familia a Petén, elegí este hotel con algunas dudas debido a varias reseñas con baja calificación y estar en remodelación pero no me arrepiento de mi elección. Estuve en una suite del 3er. piso y la habitación es fantástica, espaciosa, bonita decoración, lindo mobiliario, refrigerador, cafetera, aire acondicionado, un baño hermoso con acabados en madera, etc. también pude estar en una habitación del 1er. nivel y aunque es mas pequeña y sin las comodidades de la suite, no deja de ser acogedora. En cuanto a las instalaciones del hotel, no tengo queja, una caminata por los jardines y a la orilla de lago son muy relajantes, el personal muy atento, incluso alguien del hotel nos dio el contacto para hacer un tour al lago y nos llego a recoger al muelle del hotel. La remodelación no afecta la estadía y creo que esta por finalizar. Algunos peros, la comida del restaurante es algo cara aunque de buena calidad, es un día concurrido el servicio en restaurante es un poco lento, por lo demás ninguna queja.
