The building dates back to 1600s and is in a very quiet side street, and close to key sights. We were greeted by Gabrielle who gave us many good tips on the attractions, tickets and restaurants. The B&B has been sympathetically refurbished inside, retaining original features, but also includes things like a/c, double glazing, and modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the linen immaculate and soft, and the breakfast was truly amazing - freshly baked croissants, mama Franca’s homemade jams, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cheeses, cakes, and the best coffee ever!. We ate outside on the terrace, which in July is only really possible before 9am as it gets too hot. A lovely facility though. There are a few things we didn’t get to do in Florence, so when we return we will definitely stay here again.
