We have stayed in many 5-star++ hotels in the world and this hotel ranks in our top 5, from the service to the location to the views to the exceptional rooms. Upon arrival, we were personally welcomed by the GM, who takes a "hands on" approach to operating this Grand Dame, originally built as a proposal (they married, she fell in love with the gardener, he tried to burn it down). Bianca at the front desk is amazing and friendly and can do anything. She helped another guest locate lost luggage from an airline, spending hours on the phone with them. Yay Bianca!! The rooms are very comfortable with all the luxury amenities you would except. WIFI is excellent. Immaculate. Not one bit of dust or scuff on walls. Breakfast is lovely, a large spread with also an a la carte option. Everyone in there is cheerful and it's probably the best crew of the lot. Dinner was fine but we enjoyed our dinners in the city a bit more. We used the shuttle several times and also enjoyed the 15-20 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio through charming streets. Much easier on the downhill but we did both. Tip: When taking taxis back, it's much easier and cheaper to take them from the Villa Cora side of the river, ideally the one way road that heads back towards Villa Cora, otherwise you end up in terrible traffic which you pay for. Most of the guests here are well heeled and dressed up, so pack accordingly. I'm looking at you fellow Americans. Don't be showing up for breakfast in cargo shorts and sweatpants. The Porsches and Bentleys out front tell you that this clientele does their shopping at the finest stores around the world. Service is friendly and not pretentious, and we loved the location. We will return to Villa Cora! Best from Roberto e Tomasso!

Location fantastica e curata, la più bella a Firenze a mio parere. Ottima posizione , piscina con cocktail bar e ristorante dove il cibo è eccezionale grazie al loro chef e al loro personale sempre presente, gentile e disponibile. Veramente di livello

Era un po’ di tempo che non andavo al brunch di villa Cora a Firenze, è stata come sempre una bella domenica , sia il cibo che il servizio molto buono, complimenti ad Alessandro ( chef) che ha davvero fatto un buon lavoro , pure tutto lo staff, dall’accoglienza al servizio tavolo , tutto accurato e premuroso con il cliente … non di meno il maestro Nino che ci ha intrattenuto con buona musica. Esperienza molto piacevole da provare .

Premetto che ho utilizzato solo il cocktail bar a bordo piscina. Servizio eccellente, prodotti ottimi, rapporto qualità prezzo incredibile. Posto super romantico, consigliatissimo per una serata romantica di coppia. Superiore a tanti posti più blasonati.
