茵託諾阿爾費科飯店(Hotel Intorno Al Fico)

The property is located in a run down area, at the bottom of the takeoff runway. There is only a pizzeria/takeaway close by, we didnt manage to locate the other restaurant. The rooms were clean but very basic, no carpeting on the floor. Aircon was noisy. No windows only a sliding opening onto the garden. The rate is low and you get what you pay for. Wouldn't stay there again.

This property is close to Fumicino and also close to the beach in a dirty neighborhood that did not feel safe. Once I found it. I had to find parking outside that did not inspire confidence. The cleaning lady put me in an upstairs room with no elevator to get to it. I have serious back problems and the going up and down was painful for me. The floor of the room is poured concrete well suited for the quirky decor. The only restaurant I found was on the beach, hot, muggy and uncomfortable. The next morning, having to leave by six AM and nowhere to get an espresso was torture. Frankly it was the worst place I ever stayed in.

This hotel was like an oasis! I never heard anything about beaches near Rome, and it is fantastic! There were two seafood restaurants right on the beach that we walked to. The breakfast was also tasty (including fresh croissants, ham and cheese slices, and other selections). Stefano picked us up from the airport, which was convenient. Overall a great experience if salarying near the airport (10-12 minutes away by car).

The best part about this hotel is it’s location. It’s 15 minutes from the airport and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. It cost us $40 Euros for a 15 minute taxis ride from the airport which was shocking. The hotel has a rate of $25 which is great. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best choice for you. Airplanes fly above the hotel nonstop. I wore earplugs and I could still hear the planes. The rooms were small but fine for a short stay. My only complaint was the air conditioning. The temperature would not go below a certain point and I found the room to be too warm for sleeping. I don’t know if there is a master temperature controlled by the hotel or if it wasn’t just working in our room.

Small gem of a property off the beaten track but near popular local beach area. The staff are most helpful. We had an early dinner as the only patrons but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the home cooked food.

Incredible communication with Stefano, answered all my questions, arranged transportation for us, clean and beautiful hotel and room. Would definitely come back.

This is the second time I’ve stated here in the past month. Great location near FCO and offers an early check-in (1400) and late check-out (1100). Perfect if you want a place to stay before flying out or as you fly in and need some shut eye before beginning your travels through Italy.
