Nice room The beds were comfortable but very high. I was here for one night only, but the room does have a full sized fridge and small functional kitchen. The breakfast was fine but not great - waffle machines, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, bread, fruit and yogurt. Check in and out was efficient. It's a short drive to Madison, but there's also a bus stop across the street from the hotel.

Good rooms, sub par breakfast, pricy It was a nice enough place, roomy and comfortable beds, clean and plenty of free parking in a safe area. For the price though breakfast was pretty weak.

This is the first time at a MainStay. We will definitely use it again. Fantastic facility with room for fixing and eating meals.

This is a more extended stay suite than a hotel. Rooms are a good size, and they come equipped with a stove, fridge, and dishwasher. The hotel is clean, quiet, and in a good area, close to a Super Saver, and across the road from a bus station, making it easy to travel to downtown and the UW campus without a car. The staff is not so friendly, they don't smile, and they look grumpy all the time. Breakfast was not so good, and they clean the rooms after 3 days you staying in the hotel. And for managers, if they see those comments, one of your employees was with slippers working on breakfast time, and in one day they mop the floor the front of the breakfast room during breakfast hours, this is not safe. If you are on budget, it is a nice hotel to stay in

Business travel Large room with full kitchen, microwave full refrigerator and utensils. clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast.

Nice for families One night stay with family. Huge room with full size fridge, two burner stove, full microwave and plates, cups, silverware, etc in our suite. Pool and fitness area but did not use. Clean room, small pillows for some reason. Breakfast was typical continental hotel fare. 15 minutes from downtown Madison.
