Das Old Coach House ist eine Oase und für jemanden der in der Nähe von Ripon eine Unterkunft sucht eine absolute Empfehlung. Das B&B liegt an einer eher wenig befahrenen Straße und ist sehr ruhig mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Der Empfang war überaus herzlich, das Zimmer war tip top und definitiv auf fünf Sterne Niveau. Es gab noch eine gemütliche Sitzecke, bei schlechtem Wetter, kann das den Aufenthalt deutlich verschönern. Das Frühstück bestellt man abends, serviert wird dann im Frühstücksraum. Auch das Frühstück ist weit über dem Durchschnitt. Gegenüber vom Hotel ist ein Pub „The Stavely Arms“ in dem man sehr gut essen und bei schönem Wetter im Biergarten sitzen kann. Der Preis ist für deutsche Verhältnisse eher teuer, aber das lohnt sich unbedingt. Das Geld ist gut angelegt. Sollten wir mal wieder in dieser Gegend unterwegs sein, gibt es nichts zu überlegen, wo wir wieder übernachten.

This gem of a place is easy to find and easy to enjoy. Amy called a week before my stay to let me know how check in works. She noted the village would be quiet on a Sunday so gave us 3 recommendations for dinner locally and recommended we book. We ended up at the White Bear in Masham for a late Sunday lunch - also amazing. The bedroom at The Old Coach House is luxurious. Bathrobes, fresh fruit, chilled complimentary water and FRESH MILK with an abundant selection of tea and coffee is a great start. The bathroom comes with Temple Spa toiletries and a power shower that is likely the best I have experienced in many years of travel. The bed is like sleeping on your very own cloud. Breakfast is grilled full English with tea, coffee, toast and local preserves. Help yourself to cereal and juices. More fresh fruit, you will be sent on your way feeling well cared for. The breakfast room looks out on the courtyard fountain and lavender. I loved it here.

This was our third visit to this beautiful b&b and the experience was just as lovely as it was the first time. Our welcome couldn't have been warmer, our accommodation more comfortable or our breakfast any more delicious. The attention to detail is meticulous yet unobtrusive. The old coach house typifies the very best in local hospitality.

We stayed for one night in the premium room. This was finished to a high standard, with great decor, furniture & fittings. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom very clean & nice, with toiletries provided (and more in reception if required). Plenty of complimentary refreshments, with fresh milk in the fridge, and a fresh fruit platter. The whole place was really pretty and finished well. Outdoor seating provided for those sunny days in the garden, and plenty of private parking. The breakfast room followed suit, as a lovely, well finished separate outbuilding. Here you find your cereals, juices, and your selected (chosen/ordered the evening prior) cooked breakfast, served by friendly people . All the food was great. Thank you for a great stay.

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful old coach house in North Stainley Ripon. B&B. Clean, lovely decor, lovely breakfast in a beautiful separate breakfast room. It felt like a small hotel. Very quiet and picturesque surrounding. Very helpful and frendly staff. Already looking forward to my next stay. ***** 😊

We had a fantastic one night stay here. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable and it was really quiet at night. Shower was brilliant and bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the breakfast room is lovely. Easy check in and out and plenty of parking. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
