金字塔旅舍塔瑪林多拉美西斯(Pyramid Lodge Tamarindo Ramses)

El dueño una vez que llegamos al lugar nos dijo de manera altanera y grocera nos dijo que no podíamos quedarnos y nos echó, literalmente del lugar. Nunca recomendaría el lugar! Además pasó todo el día preguntando la hora de llagada, muy insistentemente. PÉSIMA EXPERIENCIA!

Estuvimos hospedados dos noches este fin de semana. El lugar es remoto pero tiene buenas instalaciones aunque las habitaciones son incómodas por ser pirámides pequeñas. El aire acondicionado no funciona bien y tarda mucho en enfriar. Al dejar un día el aire acondicionado encendido, el dueño se enojó y envió 6 mensajes por Whatssapp de manera altanera. Luego al dar explicaciones se disculpó porque tuvo "un mal día". Pero también tuvo problemas con otro huésped y hubo una discusión. No acepta tarjetas de crédito, todo es en efectivo. El dueño, al ser extranjero, debe aprender más de nuestra idiosincracia si desea mantener su hotel vivo.

The owner (who is Italian and not from Costa Rica) told me this was a luxury hotel. That is laughable. It is more like Motel 6. The bed offers no support and you can't sit up in bed and read because of the angle of the wall. The sheets are cheap polyester. The pillows are lumpy foam. There is no shampoo. The breakfast is very basic eggs rice and beans with a single crepe. No hot sauce for the eggs or jam for the crepe. The owner is very cheap. I had an unfortunate very bad experience with him. He charged me 20 dollars for what was supposed to be a one mile ride to an event. Because he didn't listen to me, he drove in the opposite direction, decided he needed to go to the store and then refused to take me all the way and I ended up walking a quarter of a mile. After all of that I was 30 minutes late thanks to him. The place is very far from everything. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have a car. Actually I wouldn't recommend staying here period.

If booked through a Booking app please be aware the owner does not follow through on the stated price and will pad additional costs beyond the allotted taxes. Will even resort to vague threats to try and force you to pay the added cost. Ask for full disclosure of bill before arrival.
