The room we had was modern,comfortable,with a nice terrace,had everything one would need in the kitchen and bathroom.You could even borrow from the hallway some chargers for different countries outlets,which is nice.We had great communication,there is a coffee shop for breakfast and gas station to get one going across the road.All together a positive experience.

The room was very nice. The area is also nice and has many lovely local sights. Unless you know your schedule exactly this place will be a problem. It was our second day in Iceland and we had stopped to look at many beautiful sights. There was not a local phone number or email for this apartment. We unfortunately arrived much later than we anticipated at ten pm. There was a sticky note in the hallway with a phone number for the ON SITE manager or owner. She was awake, obviously eating dinner and not asleep. She proceeded to berate us for a very long time telling us how angry she was that we were so late and that our credit card hadn't worked We could not even tell her that we had tried to find contact information to let them know we were delayed without success. She also criticized the booking engine we used which was actually the only way to book her place through the US. Despite giving her a different card and apologizing profusely she would not let it go. What made me unhappy was that she was not even willing to listen to our explanation and feedback that having the check in END times and contact information listed would be a great help. I felt humiliated and my husband was really upset. Tough second day. Worst part is I'm a doctor and my husband is an airline pilot. We travel a LOT and recommend places to our travel buddies all the time. Truly a missed opportunity for this place.
