Quob Park 老房子飯店及水療中心

This was a joint 60th birthday treat from our children. We checked in and received a very warm welcome from the staff, together with a complimentary glass of their Classic Cuvee, made from locally grown Chardonnay grapes. Our room was bijoux but very well appointed with air conditioning and a very modern bath room complete with digitally controlled walk in shower. It was a little confusing booking an evening meal in the hotel online as the 1707 restaurant is not open. We clarified this when we checked in and booked a table at the Wine and Pairing restaurant situated in their own vineyard. This was a fabulous dining experience, which was enjoyed by most of the guests in the hotel. For anyone who enjoys fine dining and wine, this is an essential part of the Quob experience. We were whisked away to the restaurant in the hotel’s Land Rover Discovery. The food was exquisite, starting with a special brioche sharing loaf and an a la carte Beef Wellington. The restaurant was modern, with a similar design to our hotel room. Being on the first floor of the Wine Cellar, we were surrounded by incredible bottles of locally grown and classic World wines. This was not a cheap meal but one of the best we have tasted. Superb chefs and wonderful white glove service made us feel positively regal.

We initially had difficulty booking at the Quob House Spa as they had a member of staff off sick. After a couple of false starts the receptionist Rosina decided that we had not had a good enough experience and offered us a complementary spa day together with a treatment and dining. It is owing to her efforts that we award the five stars as our day was truly excellent. You need to allow a few minutes to sort out parking as day visitors cannot usually park on site and although there is parking on the Square just outside, it is limited to three hours. Free unlimited parking is however available a few minutes walk away. The facilities in the spa are cleverly nestled in a relatively small space and there is no pool. However everything is spotless and of high quality. Our massages and facials were expertly done and by the time it came to dining we were relaxed and refreshed. Dining takes place at the Quob Winery, and it was here that our jaws dropped. A fantastic venue five minutes' drive away ( a shuttle service is available from the hotel though we didn't use it) this is the jewel of the Quob offer. Lovely views of the vineyard, a complementary taster glass of their own sparkling wine, sophisticated decor, excellent service and superb food topped off a delightful day. If you are in to your vintages this is a must.

Had the best birthday, relaxing in this gorgeous spa. Staff very lovely, lunch was amazing which we had on the vineyard estate. Me and my mum had a 50min treatment each which was 10/10. The therapist was lovely and great at her job. Would definitely come back here. Thank you again for making my birthday so amazing.

Spa is dirty and hot tubs are cold. So disgusting, the worst spa we have ever visited. There are 3 hot tubs. None were available as the only one that was hot was filthy with scum floating in the water and on the sides. The other 2 were cold. When bought to the attention of the manager Jessica she was so incredibly rude. I have never been spoken to in that way, no apology just very rude and very aggressive.

This is a totally fabulous place. What a quirky little place this is and tucked away from the main hotel. We had a lovely time and a great spa experience. We will certainly come again and will stay here a bit longer. Thank you for excellent service.

Booked a spa day with a friend, never been here before, arrived at the hotel, rang the bell & waited at least 10ins before someone arrived to tell us spa was down the side of the hotel, taken to spa, briefly shown around, had a massage which was average & a facial, agian was average, went to the outside jacuzzi, was not a pleasant experience, was not clean & had scum all around the edges. Basically left to fend for ourselves, asked for a glass of wine, took ages to arrive, the changing rooms were ok but nowhere to leave wet towels etc. Some areas were looking tired & unloved. We had transport to restaurant, food was amazing, staff were lovely, as was the wine, defo recommend food. Shame the spa lets its down. Could do with tlc
