My wife and I had a lovely weekend break in Falmouth, staying at the Falmouth Bay Guest House. The proprietor helped us in with our bags as I have restricted mobility and made us very welcome. The property is immaculate! Having spent a lifetime in the building trade, it was lovely to see the cleanliness, finish and attention to detail throughout the property. The breakfast was excellent and unbeatable value. Top tip, try the home made jams and marmalade.

Excellent location. 15 min walk to train station. Then 1/2 hourly service to Truro. Walk in to Falmouth about 20 mins, Gylly beach 10 mins. Also can walk to Pendennis Castle about 20 mins. Walk to quay for ferries to St Mawes and up River Fal about 20 mins. Spotless. Rooms in very good order. Breakfast very good - continental and cooked - 8.30-9.30am. Andrew an excellent host. Highly recommended. Probably best BnB we have ever stayed in.

Lovely guest house in a great location. Very helpful and attentive owners. Excellent communication. Already planning a trip back with family. Breakfast was also very good. Only heads up would be that the top floor does get quite warm during the summer.

We really enjoyed our stay at Falmouth Bay Guesthouse and felt extremely comfortable in room no. 2 with a sea view. The bed is huge, the room (and the whole house) is very tastefully furnished and the guest's stay is sweetened with great attention to detail. Jenny's breakfast is delicious and I can only recommend everyone to ask Andy for the homemade marmelade: it's a dream. Andy is an extremely attentive and helpful host - you don't often find something like this. The beach is a short walk away and there you will find Gyllys Beach Café, where you can easily spend the day (and evening). Whenever we come back here, Jenny and Andy's house will be our first choice.

Outstanding building and customer service. Lovingly furnished throughout. Lovely bedroom with very comfy mattress. The hosts Andy and Jenny were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Fantastic breakfasts. I would highly recommend a stay here

Large light bedroom and shower room, spotlessly clean. Great selection for breakfast including fresh fruit and home made marmalade and jams. Andy & Jenny are great hosts and made you very welcome. Good location for both beach and town. Really enjoyed our 4 day break will be back.
