白沙灘海濱度假村

This is our 21st year of staying at White Iron Beach. Sandy and Kerry, the owners have been the most gracious of hosts and have gone above and beyond to assure we have a great trip. Over the years we have had groups of as many as 12 people and as few as three. Kerry and Sandy have allowed us to adjust to a unit that best fits without any complaints, even on fairly short notice. How wonderful are they , One year when one of our party had to use a kneeler to get around. Kerry and Sandy provided a golf cart for him to use, without which he would have had to cancel. We did not ask, they saw the situation and just gave us the use. We have borrowed tools, been provided rescue service for boat issues at no cost and the one minor issue we had with a unit was corrected within 30 minutes, try getting that service at any hotel. One other major factor in our returning year after year is the type of people who come there. We have made many friend who have helped us with problems and who we have helped out with problems. No one request to be paid for helping, they just help. This is a great place and they and their lodgers are fun to be around. We have already book for year 2026, with a projected crew of about ten.

Great accommodations! Many activities near by for all ages but plenty to do on site. Very kid friendly with a wonderful playground located the middle of the resort. The cabins are clean and well cared for. A very nice sandy beach with a large sized swimming area that is very shallow at the beginning so safe for even small children.

We had a great time at WIBR! Sandy and Kerry are the best hosts, very helpful and always available. The cabin was cozy and very clean with all the utilities we needed. We loved being right on the lake and enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the porch with the beautiful lake view. We will be back!

We had a fun, relaxing family week. Clean cabins. Friendly, hard working team made sure we all had what we needed. Beautiful lake views from the cabins, and great fishing. The beach was fun for all ages. This is a great way to introduce children to the North Woods.

We started going to MN resorts in the mid-90’s. Each year we selected a new resort until we “found the one”. We found White Iron Beach Resort in our fourth year and now 25+ years later, we still return to WIBR. Our kids were in their pre/early teen years when we started coming here. They met other kids and remain friends today. My parents started joining us for a few days each year and enjoyed their time here, too. And, now, our grandkids have started enjoying it. I treasure those times we had and the memories made. The last two years, we’ve come in mid-September and have enjoyed the quiet of the fall. Fishing has been good, weather has been pretty good - perfect for jogging the area; and the fall foliage absolutely beautiful. WIBR is family oriented with a great beach, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats for everyone to use. Kerry and Sandy are the best hosts you could ask for. 5 stars all around!

Another wonderful year relaxing near Ely! Our stays at White Iron Beach Resort & Retreats on White Iron are a family affair, as my sister & brother-in-law's cabin is right next door! This was our first stay in CABIN 23 and enjoyed it very much. Already booked for 2024! Loved the convenient layout, kitchen is FABULOUS. Having 1 1/2 baths was great with 6 of us in the cabin. Great views. Only suggestion is to have more towel bars OR hooks for towels in the bathrooms.
