新月湖旅店民宿(Inn on Crescent Lake B&B)

We are fortunate that my birthday falls at the end of October, which usually makes it a great time for a getaway to enjoy the colors of the autumn season. The Inn at Crescent Lake is so beautiful! The entire house is warm and inviting, the Hunter Family are such welcoming hosts, and there is plenty to enjoy. The hearty breakfasts are out of this world and we weren't hungry again until dinnertime. The walking path that follows the lake is well kept and there are even available boats for the use of the guests. We are disappointed to find out that this lovely place is closing permanently to the public on November 1st, but we are thankful for the time we were able to spend here this weekend. We wish the Hunter Family all the best in the future and want to thank them for making this wonderful, historic home available to so many people over the past several years.

This place is the most amazing place I have been so far to stay! The atmosphere is very peaceful and homey and the staff are very welcoming, kind and helpful as well! We will miss you guys and being able to stay each year on our anniversary! God bless the inn on the Crescent and all He has in store for its future we know it is in good hands with you guys! This place is amazing. It is a hidden gem, just a few miles outside of Kansas City. Such a peaceful place. The room decor was so inviting. The staff was so friendly and always available. I wouldn’t change a thing. We will definitely be back.

So so sad!!!’ They are closing their B&B. We visited last fall and loved this place. Tried to get in again this summer and it was booked on the dates we needed. Wanted to schedule for next year and website says they are having to close for health issues. My husband and I are praying for you and yours. We will miss the opportunity to visit you again. We so love coming here for our anniversary in February, but we wanted to make one last visit before "our" Inn closes in November (sadly for us, but I'm happy for the Inn Keeps). It's so peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and even though we are just a few minutes away from town, it seems like we are out in the middle of the country, away from the hustle and bustle. We love staying in the cottage (carriage house). The pool was so relaxing and perfect for lounging in. We feel everything is personalized to us when we visit. We can find peace in just walking the grounds or taking a paddle boat out in the lake. Of the 12 years we have been coming to the Inn, every experience has been an awesome one and we hate to leave. Thank you, Mike & Monica, and God bless you in your future endeavors! We'll keep in touch.

Excellent sheets. I am buying my wife Sheex for our anniversary. The pool is refreshing. Calm and quiet and lots to read. I really liked the jacuzzi and Keurig in the room. I had a great night sleep. The grounds are pretty and well maintained.

I told friends that we were going to Excelsior Springs for a little weekend getaway and everyone asked if we were staying at the Elms. I said no. I actually missed seeing the larger hotel on my search and am I ever glad I did! Our stay at The Inn on Crescent Lake was amazing! We had been backroad cruising all day and the pool was super inviting. My husband and I opted out of going out to dinner and decided that peanuts, pork rinds and crackers would sustain us while we enjoyed the pool. The owners offered small snacks as well that were complimentary and we took advantage of popcorn and cookies. The pool water was crystal clear and warm. Two other couples came out and we all enjoyed each others company and found out we were all celebrating wedding anniversaries. We stayed until the pool closed, then enjoyed some wine on our patio under the stars. It was hard to go inside. Our room was very spacious and cozy. The bed and pillows super comfy! Our stay included breakfast and I had not intended to eat much, but when Mike served the yogurt parfait and Sicilian roll with potatoes, I ended up eating every bite. It was so tasty, hot and delicious!! We took a morning walk around the lake before we left. The grounds are very well kept and beautiful. I would definitely stay again! It gets 10/10.

The hospitality was wonderful and the food was great. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Over all good experience. The grounds were very well kept and were very secluded yet close to everything.

We recently stayed over the weekend - wish we could’ve stayed longer. Gorgeous mansion, beautiful decor, and refreshing pool. The grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was top notch. Owner/host very attentive and friendly. Love the history of this Inn. Will definitely return!
