"I have nothing but praise for Botica Guesthouse. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Espinho and very close to the beach. The accommodation is wonderful—clean, beautiful, comfortable...a real treat! We wanted to visit Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, and Espinho is the perfect location. It's next to the station on Portugal's main railway line, so getting to all the cities by train was incredibly convenient, and we didn't need the car. Porto is about a 20-minute train ride away and costs the price of a metro ticket. Elizabete is an absolute angel of a hostess; she's incredibly kind and always willing to help. I have no doubt that if we return to Porto, we'll stay there again and recommend it to anyone who goes."
