胡達營地飯店

Wij hadden een rhino tracking package geboekt. Je krijgt je eigen tent met veld bed, kokkin, gids en verteller. Toiletten en douche ruimte is schoon. Et er n die je buiten onder een afdakje waar de kokkin op een open vuur eten voorbereid. Iedere maaltijd is vers. In de avond zit je rond een kampvuur en krijg je uitleg over het gebied, de dieren etc. Om 7 uur vertrokken we voor de rhinotracking. Twee trackers gingen met en de gids. Groot gedeelte zaten we in de auto en reden we over rots paden. Super wat de Toyota truck allemaal aankan. De trackers zoeken de neushoorns en die zijn gevonden. Pech voor ons dat ze ver weg waren en moeilijk te fotograferen. We kregen thee/koffie onderweg. En later een heerlijke lunch. Tegen 16 uur waren we terug.

Fun, clean camp, hot showers powered by wood-fire water heater that staff make for us each day, gorgeous sunsets … absolutely loved our time here.

We stayed at Hoada camp in August of 2025 and really enjoyed it. The campsites are beautiful as advertised, hidden among the boulders. The campsite we had was large and private. The hot water worked well for showers and kitchen, the toilet was a luxury - everything is well set up and maintained. We did the farm hike which was really interesting - my kids (12 & 16) said it was a highlight of the trip for them. The only issue was the gnats. Starting around noon until sunset we had gnats constantly around our faces, and I realize we sound soft and unadventurous when we complain about that but it was hard to relax when we were constantly swiping them away. Giving guests a place to retreat during these hours would help - perhaps consider installing a screened in deck area around the bar? Or mosquito netting around some tables? Just a place where you can sit and relax, read a book peacefully would make a big difference. As it was we were glad it was not too hot - we retreated into our tents for the afternoon. All-in-all though it was a recommended camping experience.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The location is unbelievable. Very relaxing, comfortable amenities. No wifi (nice to have a break).

What a great campsite! Everything that is Namibia is reflected here. Great service, fantastic site built into the rocks, a great sunset bar and rock pool. Clean and organised. Ablutions are good for where you are. No interruptions and a chance to appreciate what is around you.

Very spacious and private campsites. The facilities, like a cooking kitchen with running water (and hot water after wood-fire warmed boiler) and an outdoor shower made it an amazing stay. The personell is very friendly and helpfull. They also organized the rhino tracking here for us via the Grootberg Lodge (note: this is only available with at least 2 night stay). Would definitely recommend this campsite.
