撒拉森海德飯店

Beautiful hotel surrounded by farmland, extremely peaceful at night and we slept soundly in the large, comfortable bed. We only stayed one night during a road trip but would definitely return for longer, this hotel is perfect for a quiet weekend away. We ate at Rocky Bottoms on the coast in the evening but next time would try the hotel restaurant because the menu looked great, and the breakfast was excellent (loved the homemade marmalade). The staff were very warm & hospitable, we felt very welcome. The room was clean, cosy, and tastefully decorated in keeping with the period architecture. Superb value for money, we highly recommend a visit to The Saracen's Head.

A unique country house hotel, very peaceful, comfortable and intimate offering a delicious evening dinner and breakfast.

We booked for a 'Family' meal on Sunday - There were 12 of us in total, 4 children, plus x3 dogs. A little bit worried in case we upset other diners, but Ian & his Team were so accommodating. We had a private dining room, the was food delicious & we were not rushed. It was a leisurely Sunday afternoon where we all caught up with each other, a real family occasion Thank you so much, Ian & Team we All had a brilliant time.

From the moment we stepped foot through the front door, we experienced warm friendly & attentive hosts making for a perfect stay. Our room was clean and characterful. We dined at the Saracen’s Head both nights. The food was delicious and great to see local sourcing of top quality ingredients. The breakfasts were also fabulous and generous. We waddled away from our stay several pounds heavier but well worth the work we’ll need to do to slim down!

Have really enjoyed our stay there, lovely host and staff, wonderful breakfast and dinner. It’s dog friendly too!

Will visit again Lovely quirky inn in the countryside. Great hosts and spacious rooms. The locally sourced food was lovely (inc The best full English I have ever experienced) and a good selection of drinks to top it off.
