The hotel is affordable and has an excellent location if you want to visit in Therme Erding. It is just about 15 minutes walking distance from the Spa. However, during the warm days the room was extremely hot as there is no air-conditioning available and the sun is heating the room all day. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly to be able to provide us another room from the other side of the hotel. That room proved out to be quite a hot too, but it cooled during the nighttime. For the light sleepers there is traintrack nearby which might be bothersome. The room was otherwise very modern and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very cheap and it was delicious. To be noted that there is neither reception or breakfast at Apfelrot hotel on site but instead it is necessary needed to take a walk to the Apfelbaum to checkin as well as have the breakfast. We also noted that there were not enough parking space available for all the guest which made it a bit of hassle to find a parking spot from the streets nearby when we arrived late in the evening.
