Though undergoing renovation, the building is solid which helps maintain a quiet environment. Guests with pets were grossly irresponsible and the parking lot turned into a mine field of dog poo. The advertised wifi was utterly useless which set me back having to buy extra data for my hotspot.

The management is earnest and responsive, I wish them the best as they finish the remodel. Price was very reasonable and puts to shame some other outfits that charge twice as much for worse accomodations.
I am a business traveler for 22 years and need wifi to work! it was terrible and rate savings went into data purchase for my overworked portable hotspot.

Without going into too much detail, I was very nervous, and ended up leaving a few minutes after I got there. People were playing loud music and drinking outside my room. A woman was taking pictures of my car. Another woman cussed me out, when I tried to ask if they could turn down the music. I booked this motel, sight unseen. I will never do that again.

Room condition: Paint peeling, hole in wall. Dirty. broken dresser drawer. Security door chain lock broken. The staff are pleasant, onsite and responsive. They made me feel like the room would be watched over, thus allaying any safety worries. Otherwise, I'd have been concerned about door lock and security.
The timing for my stay was during a local bicycle race event that causes all accommodations to be booked within 50 miles of Emporia, KS.
No way I would elect to stay there again unless it was last resort.
