"We’ve just come back from a fantastic stay at Elounda Breeze for 10 nights at the beginning of May. Hotel service was fantastic from the beginning, we had a late flight and therefore a very early morning check in which was made seamless by the receptionist, even down to offering sandwiches etc for us. Room was set up ready for arrival with curtains closed/sofa bed made up for our toddler. We had a room with a private pool, both cleaned daily. A minor criticism here is that the flooring in the room/around the pool could have been cleaned during our stay, not enough to dampen our experience just something to note. It was our first time travelling with our toddler and I wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tui entertainment team who are fantastic, go out of their way to remember our daughters name, made sure she was involved in activities etc (particular shout out to Caitlin, Alex and Laura who are fantastic, but they are all great) Food is typical for an all inclusive and does get repetitive but we never struggled to find something to eat at any of the restaurants, the children’s food section only opened on our final night (presumably down to the season ramping up as quiet when we arrived) but again, never struggled to find something to eat for our toddler nights before this. A note for anyone staying with different abilities or toddlers is the hotel is VERY hilly, so I would recommend a travel pushchair personally for any young children. Overall a fantastic stay at Elounda Breeze, beautiful location (we walked 20 minutes into Elounda which is a gorgeous town) and would highly recommend."

"Couldn't find many recent reviews on Porto Elounda so I thought I'd try and help out a little. It seems as though the hotel has increased listings with major UK tour operators for the 2025 season so the May half term has seen an increase in British guests. The setting is beautiful on Mirabello Bay and the restaurants all look out onto the shimmering expanse of blue. The hotel is positioned on a relatively steep hill but the resort has many golf buggies whizzing around if you're struggling with mobility. The rooms are spacious and the addition of private pools is a bonus for families. We stayed in the spa wing of the resort and the interiors are a little dated. They've tried to upweight the offering and modernise with ipads in the rooms which allow restaurant bookings. Bizarrely. they still have dvd players in the rooms. The maid service is very thorough and you get regular room tidying which is a big bonus. I would say that this resort caters for very young children nicely. For those with slightly older children like ours there is very little to do. There is no entertainment on offer within the resort and the focus is very much on dining. Elies beach bar is a lovely set up but sometimes the service let it down during lunch servings. The best part of the visit was the trips to the neighbouring restaurants on a boat journey. This was really spectacular at night and added a splash of luxury feel to it. My final sentiments are about cost. The bar prices are incredibly expensive which is prohibitive for some. €16 for an Aperol is unrealistic. If this is the pricing model then fine but at least add a Happy hour into it to stop the pool staff having to ask guests to purchase drinks. A lovely location but work to be done on becoming a true 5* resort."

"Beautiful views over Elounda Bay, very clean, pleasant staff, the food was nice but is repeated over and over the same type of food, gets a bit boring after a week. You need to be fit to stay here, the walk up to it from the road is very steep and there are flights of steps to access everything. There is no entertainment at all, just one bar with a little piped background music, so if you want a reasonably inexpensive,quiet week away and don’t have high expectations then this is a place for you, I would say 3 star not 4."
