The beachfront cabins are a delight with the ocean practically on one's doorstep. Beautiful location nestled within the rainforest. Cabins are clean and comfy, a quiet spot for a restful night's sleep. I have stayed here before and will return again.

Für 2 Nächte waren wir dort. Ein toller, ruhiger Platz. Alles was benötigt wird ist vorhanden. Sicherlich ist die Einrichtung nicht die neueste, aber alles funktioniert tadellos und ist sauber. Die Lage ist traumhaft direkt am Strand. Sehr zu empfehlen wenn man runterkommen und relaxen möchte. Vielen Dank

Wir sind beide begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt im Ellis Beach Oceanfront. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die ganzen Sanitär Anlagen waren stehts sauber. Der Grillplatz welchen wir benutzen war wie eine Outdoorküche. Es hatte sogar Kühlschränke um Lebensmittel oder Getränke kühl zu stellen. Bei unserem Stellplatz mit Stromversorgung hatte es zusätzlich Wasseranschluss und einen Abfalleimer. Die Lage ist eifach toll. Der Strand mit den Palmen war wunderschön. Baden im Meer konnte man wegen Quallen und Krokodilen nicht. Dafür gab es einen Pool mit diversen Liegen. Wir können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Great location. Cabins right on the beach. Clean and well thought out. Great kitchenette with enough to cook the basics. Great full size fridge. Ample shelter from the sun/rain on your big deck, with plenty of chairs. Great service team, nice on arrival and exit. My only issue was that in front of cabin 19 there was some erosion, so some sand bags took away the beach feel and the drainage pipes were exposed. I felt like I was at a work site. It wouldn't stop me from going back, but I wouldn't stay in Cabin 19.

The caravan park is set on a beautiful beach with clean amenities but unfortunately the ‘site’ we were put on was awful. The only way to describe it was we were camping on the road. Our site was gravel, uneven, noisy and up hard against a retainer wall with a bright light that shone through our window all night. Our car had to be parked partly on the road and our neighbours were in front of us so our view was the back of their Landcruiser. We were on Site 55 and paid $65 a night for a site that barely fitted our 12 foot van. The only thing that constitutes it being a ‘site’ was a power point in the wall and a tap. Great position park, lovely staff but check your site when you book and avoid 55 & 56 - dreadful that they allow people to camp there.

The 2 is for the location only. Very disappointed with our powered caravan site, it was so tight and cramped. On arrival, we weren't given any heads up on how to approach the site to park up, we had to find out ourselves. Luckily we had our remote mover with us. The site was that tight, we couldn't even get our side curtain up, the power box was situated smack bang in the middle of the slab. Ridiculous set up. You can see the distance between our slab and the neighbor in the photo. They've really been very greedy rebuilding after Jasper, and have compromised customer satisfaction and comfort for $. And their dynamic pricing!! Never come across it yet, price went up to $71 a night for the late booking and high occupancy rates. The beach front sites were completely full, seeing that was what we were so looking forward to, we didn't make a complaint to management till we left. I can't believe how I was dismissed, no ownership of the poor management and communication. I was told if we had presented the issue to them, they would have found us another beach front site. There were none!! Not the point. And after giving further feedback, I've been completely ignored. Sites 1-8 seemed ok for space, most likely I imagine original sites. We were right down the end on 20. As locals we will not return. Very disappointed.

It is a must to select an oceanfront site. Sound of ocean blocks out sound of highway. Speccy views, easy beach access and bild birdlife. Amenities were good but an exhaust would make them better as they can become unpleasanntly hot.

Quiet, comfortable and very clean rooms. Easy parking for the van. Great help with places of interest and things to see.

Booked in a van for a night as recommended by someone we had met on the road. Offered a spot right by the sea, more expensive than usual spots at (I seem to remember) 104AUS for the night. Camp looks nice when you enter then park up by the sea, however what they failed to mention was the amount of work there would be going on first thing in the morning to shore up the beach. Big lorries driving past first thing, while we were trying to have breakfast. Facilities were a bit tired too
