Travelodge Cheshire Oaks

Right this was second trip staying here for one night n decided to choose the plus room which quite frankly not sure why I bothered the only reason for me was not to have some fat oaf above me stomping around all night. There nothing different extra in the room except a coffee pod machine and that’s it, the seat, bathroom (modular bolt on), small very small tv for the size of the room and the bed does certainly not have plump pillows. Worst of this time was cleaning, massive hair on wall of bathroom door, sink had another three in and the sink would fill up n be blocked without even putting plug in. Hair grosses me out so this was particularly horrible have to wash in a dirty environment. Lastly the room was far too warm with no way of controlling temperature and as you can see the fan would only run semi silent if removed the guard as it’s damaged. I’d defo think twice before booking again.

I would not recommend anyone to stay here no air conditioning room extremely hot staff rude it was uncomfortable

Room was FAR TO HOT, there was a card on the table on our arrival saying they understood the room was hot and so have made the bed with only a sheet on and if a duvet was needed it was in a bag under the desk, a fan was in the room however was not working and I had to go and change it. The window would only open about 4” so little air was getting in the room, when I changed the fan I mentioned the heat to the girl on the counter ( she was very pleasant and extremely helpful ) and mentioned it does get hot there as there are restaurants below (we were on the 4th floor).. the shower was poor and there was no shower gel in the case in the shower nor was there a floor mat. It’s location for Cheshire Oaks however is excellent and the staff tried there very best to help us.

Definately a great location for visiting cheshire oaks, chester, and surrounding areas. The room was comfortable and clean, staff very accommodating, great price for 3 nights ...very quiet and plenty of places to grab some food

Ok, so the hotel was very clean. The room though was far too hot and the bed was very uncomfortable. There is very little storage space, there was a rail with a few hangers, but a chair was underneath the hangers so if you sat down, you had clothes landing on you're head?. It was have made more sense to replace the chair with a wee IKEA set of drawers as we had to live out of our case for the 2 days. Otherwise it ok, its very basic but proximity to the outlet and local shops and restaurants its fine.

The travelodge was very conveniently located for Cheshire Oaks and surrounding areas. Great to be offered a discount on some of the restaurants and it’s free parking. Only thing is that travelodge have incredibly hard beds, which are quite uncomfortable.
