河蝶舞住宿加早餐旅館(River Splendour Home Stay)

De passage dans ce lieux magique au pied d'une cascade pour vous tout seul. Magique et ce malgré la grosse averse et débit d'eau de la fin d'après midi. Exceptionnel, magnifique, superbe photo assurées. Avons pris le repas avec l'option cooking , a surtout ne pas s'en privé. propriétaire et famille au top et le bonjour de Rouqsy le matin , le chien de la famille.

Champi und ihr Mann Shan waren tolle Gastgeber! Sie gaben mir sehr viele Tipps was man unternehmen kann und mit Shan machte ich einen Trip in den Udawalawe Nationalpark - sehr zu empfehlen. Für einen Kochkurs mit Champi reichte die Zeit leider nicht - doch ich habe nur positive von anderen Gästen davon gehört. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, super essen und der Wasserfall im Garten ist halt unbeschreiblich. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur allen Menschen ans Herz legen, sie ist jeden Cent wert.

Nous avons sejourné 2 nuits et avons apprécié le cadre, les repas, la gentillesse de nos hotes, le cours de cuisine. Un vrai morceau de nature a proximité de ella. Apres une journée de balade, soit on profite de la cascade soit de la nature. Un grand merci a Champi pour son accueil ainsi qu a sa famille

Champi und ihr Mann Chan betreiben ihr home stay mit Herz und Seele. Immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und für einen smalltalk zu haben. Wunderschöner Ausblick vom Frühstück auf den Fluss und die Natur. Hier und da kommen Hörnchen und Affen vorbei. Die cooking class von Champi ist ein Muss. 7 leckere Curries zusammen gekocht ... es waren die besten meiner ganzen Sri Lanka Reise. Und nicht zu vergessen der private Wasserfall, welcher nach einem Wandertag für eine schöne Abkühlung sorgt!

Champi and Shan were great hosts. We learned so much about Sri Lankan life and customs in the few days we were there. We had a cooking class with Champi which was lovely. Shan brought us on a trip to the Dambatenne tea plantation, and also drive us to our next stop on the coast.

What a beautiful little haven !! Champi and family have created something beautiful - located just outside of the hustle of Ella but only a short tuk tuk away. He will help with anything you ask (including the parking of our Jeep while we stayed). The rooms are spotless, the waterfall is so beautiful! Highly recommend !!

Our family spent 3 nights at River Splender. Champi (and her family) are warm and friendly hosts. Ella has had a lot of rain so the waterfall was swollen and loud. Not safe to swim but wonderful to watch. My kids and I did a cooking class which was lots of fun and very delicious. I’m familiar with the spices but have never cooked with jackfruit or banana flower.I particularly loved hearing about the spices and fruits Champi grows in her garden. I picked a fresh cardamom seed which smells incredible! She even grows and grinds her own coffee! The rooms are basic but what may be lacking in mod cons is made up by jungle experience, a private waterfall and warm family hospitality. I can’t wait to try Champas family recipes at home.

I wish I could put six stars, Champi, the lady owner, is the nicest and helpful person you could find. She’s an English teacher, and a cook teacher as well . About the place …. This is PARADISE !!! This homestay has it s proper waterfalls, Eadies fantastic to chill out on a rock in the middle of the river. The rooms are extra clean and the beds are just king size … Top top top !!!!!! Thanks again for everything to Champi and her family !!!!
