Basic appartments, hidden cost of £100 euros for air con, no running water for two nights, so couldn't shower or flush the toilet. Didnt effect other neighbouring hotels. Host seemed to avoid the problem with no Comms whatsoever. Pool area was nice.

Brothers in arms: what a wonderful experience by the family of brothers and uncles at Eryphilli studios of Kateleios. Absolutely amazing service, love and support throughout our 10 night stay. Service absolutely incredible, pool and food also wonderful. Nothing too much for any of the lads; always focused upon yourself and given with warmth and a fantastic sense of humour. Special shout to Young Peter, what a fantastic guy. Apartment was clean and spacious, pool perfect and on most occasions plenty of sun beds available. We even had our own dragonfly whisperer ha ha. Many returning guests which emphasise the quality and experience many visitors receive. Would I go again ? Yes, in a heartbeat but there’s quite a lot of islands we’d like to go to also. If you’re after Greece of years ago and a real introduction to Greek life you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for a wonderful stay: Phil and Julie (room 4)

Nice place. Close to supermarket and a few tavernas and the bakery. Air con cost 100 euro for the week. Water pressure and temperature can be a bit dodgy. Assumed it’s because everyone else was having a shower at the same time. Bring a travel washing line with you. Had a t towel, washing up liquid and scrubber provided. Had a hair dryer on wall in bathroom. Didn’t use balcony as it was always in the sun. Pool area was nice enough. Never had any problems getting a sunbed. There are showers and toilets behind pool bar for when you go home if you’re not leaving til later as check out is 10am. Didn’t eat there but food looked good enough for a snack bar kind of place. They did themed nights there too. Pool is shallow at one side (there’s also a small kids part of the pool) but then gets quite deep. Tourist tax was 14 euros and they prefer that in cash. There was nowhere open when we got there (quite late) so consider stocking up on food and water at airport departure for late evening arrivals (glad we did). Sofas in lounge are used as 2 single beds. Sheets and pillows provided. Plenty of plug sockets. Room was cleaned 3 or 4 times during our stay. Plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe. Takes about an hour to get there from airport. 10/15 min walk to beach with quite a bit of footpath. Beach is very shallow outside the tavernas and is mostly sandy. 15 euro for 2 sunbed and umbrella (you can’t get just the 1 sunbed) Beach to left of kiosk is pebbly with a bit of sand. Can sometimes get a spare free sunbed/umbrella here. Water has more larger stones in it for parts.

We have just returned from a fab 10 night stay at this hotel, it was our first time visiting Katelios and definitely won't be our last. We had a studio for two (room 7) on the first floor and it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen area had a fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery and plates: the hob was a 'plug in' which we didn't use. The bathroom was basic, but clean and the bedroom area had everything we needed. Including more coat hangers in the wardrobe that I've ever seen in a hotel before and a powerful hairdryer. Do take your own washing line and pegs if you think you'll need it. It was all cleaned regularly with fresh towels etc. The hotel is run by Nikos, his son, brother and nephew and all are really friendly and helpful. The bar area opens at 10.30am (I think!) staying open to late. The food served is excellent. The pool and surrounding area is kept clean and the water was a lovely temperature when we there. There are more than enough sunbeds, with places in the full sun and shade. It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the front and maybe slightly longer coming back uphill. There is a supermarket over the road, two restaurants close by, a gift shop and a superb bakery. It is a really relaxing place to stay with wonderful views and no loud music. We would definitely stay again but never in July, too hot!! One thing to be aware of is that check out is 10am.

What a lovely week we had at Eryphilli. Special thanks to Nickos, the 2 Peters, and Dimitris for being great hosts. The one bdrm apts are really nice and we loved our lazy days by the good sized pool. Food on site was fantastic - especially the quiche ! It is a 15 minute walk down to the beach, where you will find a row of tavernas and several bars. Make the effort to find " Dreamcatchers " if you can, it's a real gem. A short walk from Eryphilli there is a mini market and the very good Persas taverna. All in all, it's a great place to stay and we will be returning soon. Jim and Angie .

This place is heaven. Nikos and his sons Peter and Dimitri look after you as if you are part of their family. The apartments are clean and tidy. Linen changed every other day. The pool bar is the hub of the resort where you can indulge in some lovely food at decent prices. Monday night is lamb night, Wednesday night is fish night ,both 20 euros for a great 3 course meal and Friday night is BBQ night for 23 euros. What's not to like. Been coming here for the past 2 years and won't be going anywhere else. It's that good!! Great restaurants in the village 15 mins walk.
