The hotel is very grand outside however could benefit from some refurbishment inside to bring it up to scratch. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was absolutely spotless. Excellent hot shower in the morning and a lovely breakfast with plenty on offer - served by the loveliest of staff members.

Absolutely awful. Substandard accommodation. Please see the photos attached - even the kettle inside was dirty. We actually left at midnight after returning from our event and booked at the hotel next door which was 5 star - the total opposite. Complaint has not been dealt with. Dirty curtains, dirty radiator, bed in tatters, curtains hanging next to the toilet. Dirty bathroom - wouldn’t have even showered there. Door handle fell off. Stained carpet. Window open to disguise smell. Wallpaper peeling. Honestly do not waste your money. Staff were useless in the morning when I returned with the key hoping to speak to someone.

The laich moray hotel scores 10/10 great service fantastic food in fact we would definitely stay there again. They went out of their way to make our wedding day special. 😀 staff all very friendly. Oh and the breakfast gets 10/10 also. Amazing experience

My second time staying here and is now my go to place in Elgin. Always get a warm friendly welcome on arrival. Wonderful big building and gardens to match. Gated driveway up to the property. Even has a guest lounge with a roaring log fire. Fantastic. Central enough to be within walking distance of the centre of town. Bedroom is full of character and really comfy big bed. Good choice of breakfast in the morning. When I consider places like the Premier Inn that I used to stay at there is really no comparison. What a wonderful place.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable bed, but i would like to say, that if you're disabled, you need to phone the hotel prior to your stay, as i found out, this hotel is huge, and being a double amputee, i wasn't prepared for the distance to the room or facilities i needed, Please phone ahead
