"We felt very comfortable at Hotel Hermannshöhle and would return anytime. We would especially like to highlight the superb breakfast, the hospitality, and the truly friendly staff. During our stay, there was also a large group of construction workers at the hotel. Otherwise, it was mostly hikers and vacationers who wanted to enjoy the beautiful nature and surroundings. The location is absolutely perfect, especially for hikers. Many things are within walking distance, and you can embark on various excursions and hikes directly from here. Our apartment was very spacious, clean, and renovated. Before our arrival, we naturally looked at the reviews and were initially a little hesitant because of some older ones. However, we quickly realized on-site that many of them simply no longer reflected the current situation. There has been a change of ownership, and it's clear that the hotel is now very well managed and is being significantly improved. A lot of time and energy continues to be invested, and you can feel it as a guest. A big compliment is also due for the breakfast and the dining options directly at the hotel. This is especially convenient since there aren't many places in town to get a hot meal at any time of day. We were able to enjoy a hot meal at lunchtime and in the evening, and it was very tasty. The outdoor terrace is also lovely, a great place to relax in the evenings and unwind at the end of the day. The owner is also very friendly and easy to talk to, and you can tell that the hotel and guest satisfaction are truly important to him. Overall, we got the impression during our stay that the hotel is very popular with guests. We felt welcome and comfortable and would love to come back!"
