This privately-owned, newly furnished, private house has everything you need for a vacation whether "working from home", fishing, wind-sports, mountain-biking, or just relaxing and enjoying ocean views from the rooftop patio. Sleeps up to 5. 1 1/2 bath, fully supplied kitchen with blender for those evening margaritas on the patio. Strong Wi-Fi, a big flat-screen TV, and Netflix access, too! A quick drive or a 2-minute drive (1/2 mile) to the beach, stores, and restaurants. Rooftop shaded patio, and amazing views of the mountains, Cerralvo Island, and the entire bay of La Ventana. Reserve now at this great rate! From one of our recent guests: "We were able to enjoy the beaches with no problems. The road there was in excellent shape and I appreciated the beautiful mature cactuses that carpeted the area. Fresh fish from the sea. Jolie maison, bien placée et vue imprenable
Un bon emplacement, un contact simple et rapide avec le propriétaire mais de gros problèmes avec l’eau durant notre semaine avec mauvais écoulement au niveau des douches et des toilettes. Les problèmes se sont accumulés et reproduits mais en soit ont été à chaque fois résolus dans les temps avec l’aide du propriétaire

Nice small casita, great for solo travel or couples. Entrance a little tricky to find at first, but if you just drive around the property, eventually you will see the entrance to the driveway. It’s pretty easy to back your smaller vehicle under the carport. Hot water was good. AC was excellent. The view from roofdeck is great. Small backyard patio was nice too at night and evenings. Bed was comfortable. I highly recommend this property.

Property was very clean, bed comfortable, property manager and owner very welcoming and responsive. We would definitely stay at home if we were to return to area.

Perfect for us
We are 3 Kiters visiting La Ventana for the first time that did not want to stay in the middle of town. The view from the windows and the upstairs patio were perfect of the sea of Cortez in front of us and the beautiful mountains surrounding us. We wanted a feel of being in a community of locals and not a hotel or resort feel. It suited our needs perfectly.

Baja escape
The house was just perfect for relaxing. We stayed for 1 week and it was walking distance from restaurants and the beach.
Alejandro was amazing answering all our questions and he did go completely out of his way to make us comfortable and welcome.
We absolutely recommend, and probably will be visiting again in the future.
Thank you Steve and a thousand thank you Alejandro!!!

it's a bit tricky finding the place but our host, Alejandro, was above and beyond helpful!
Alejandro was so responsive and helpful when we had small issues. We absolutely loved our stay in this casita. the rooftop space is perfect for coffee at sunrise and happy hour for sunset. We felt the kitchen was well stocked- the only thing we missed was a lime squeezer. it's a great location- walkable to Oscaritos grocery store and the best beaches fro wind fun! We absolutely plan to return next year for longer. We are thankful for this great casita and kind host

Great location
Just up the hill, @ 1/4-1/2 mile from several kiting locations (Fig Tree, and Las Palmas).
Great vantage point for quickly sizing up when the wind is coming in the morning.
A few things are in need of repair, such as the faucet, water pump, and shower drain, but between the local caretaker (Alejandro) and Steve (the owner) indicated that these will be fixed. A few other things need updating, such as the couches and lighting, but overall, this is a low priced rental, relative to others in the area, so it is a reasonable value.
