A lovely family-run place in beautiful surroundings with views of the magnificent mountain range. It's easy to reach everything El Chaltén has to offer on foot. We had a family room which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was an absolute highlight and Patricia, Nicolás and Nico were superb hosts. ¡Muchas gracias!

This is a charming and peaceful retreat nestled in the heart of Patagonia. The family-run establishment exudes warmth and hospitality, making it an ideal base for exploring the breathtaking surroundings. The sleek design with its wood and glass elements blends beautifully with the Patagonian landscape. It's clear they've put thought into creating a luxurious basecamp for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. However, given the spartan vibe it comes with, the price we paid for it seemed way too steep! But I believe that is understandable given the season we visited it in. LOCATION:The location is absolutely perfect - just at the edge of town with unobstructed views of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. I loved being able to start my hikes directly from the hotel, yet still being close enough to walk to restaurants and shops in the center of El Chaltén within 5-10 minutes. DINE + DRINK: The breakfast spread was impressive with high-quality local ingredients - fresh pastries, eggs made to order, and excellent coffee. Though they dont have a full on bar, the outside lawn area is cozy and perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking, and comes with million dollar views of the mountains ROOM: We stayed in Room on the first floor, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: View of the street and mountains from the sitout attached to the Room ; AIR-CON: No Air conditioner, but the room got cool enough in the night; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good spa quality toiletries FACILITIES: No Gym or pool on site, pure mountain chill! SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to the hosts who took care of us like family! HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! No TV in the room.

Excellent hotel, location and advice from Nicolas and Patricia. The breakfast is excellent with Patricia as a very good hostess. Can do money exchange too. Reasonable laundry close by. Try La Tapera Restaurant for lunch or dinner. Easier route to Mt Fitzroy starts at Rio Electrico.

Séjour formidable Hôtel très très sympathique à recommander absolument ! Les patrons sont serviables et aux petits soins : renseignements, réservations de bus, météo,… tout est parfait ! Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits et y retournerons avec grand plaisir :-) ! Merci pour l’accueil

This was the best stay I had over two weeks in Argentina! It starts with the hosts - Nico welcomed us warmly and showed us our room and its amenities while offering insight into trails and dining options. Patricia was delightful and charming and accommodated for all of our needs. Plus, her home baking at breakfast time is not to be missed! The property itself is modern, bright and super clean. The linens and towels smelled SO GOOD and retained their freshness for the duration of our three night stay. The cleaners also tidy up exceptionally well and even folded up the laundry we hung to dry! I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to El Chalten! I don't even need to consider another spot. This place is as exceptional as it gets!

Cozy hotel that’s like a home away from home Lovely stay in Chaltén! This hostería is in a great location within walking distance to everything. It’s about a 20 min walk to the main trailheads, but it’s a flat, easy, and scenic walk. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were at home! Breakfast was hearty and delicious with homemade cakes every morning. It was a treat! Our room was spacious and quiet and had everything we needed, including extra pillows, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We even had a nice view of Fitz Roy! Bonus- the pizza place across the street is delicious. I absolutely recommend this stay!
