This is a great place to stay overnight for late arrival or early departure from Alicante airport. Reception staff are friendly, thoughtful, polite and helpful in booking taxi, advising on local restaurants and explaining the Hostal facilities all in good English. Room was very clean with effective air- con and beds very comfortable. Unable to comment on breakfast service as flight left very early. Hostal overlooks open heath land with pathways for enjoyable stroll away from town traffic Only downside of stay was poor sound insulation in building so the noise of furniture being moved around in the dining area very late at night by other guests returning to premises when no staff were present became a nuisance

We stayed for 3 nights at Hostal Pensimar after seeing the positive reviews and wishing to be close to Alicante airport. We wasn’t disappointed, the hotel is perfect for what we needed , it’s well maintained and the rooms are very clean and comfortable the en-suite showers were perfect a lovely addition. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. The cafeteria is a real bonus, we only managed to use it once, the service was great and so was the coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice and very reasonably priced to. We would definitely return if we need to be close to the airport. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk away.

Excellent place, great customer service, Marta is a special person . I recommend it here any time of year, lovely rooms and very clean, 5 min to airport in taxi so no reason why shouldn't stop here, plenty Spainish community bars. Get taxi prebooked on FreeNow if leaving early

This was my third stay at the Pensimar, and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when needing an overnight close to Alicante airport. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and helpful (thank you, Olga, for your tips and directions!), and the rooms are exceptional for a budget hotel. Really comfortable bed, modern, clean fittings - everything you could need. Thank you for another enjoyable, stress free stay 😊

We had an early flight out of Alicante Airport, and so we booked here. We had a 19-month-old with us, and the reception staff were amazing, absolutely amazing. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure we knew how things worked with checking in, and they also booked our taxi to the airport for the next morning. They were happy to answer any questions we had about the area and were happy to give recommendations about restaurants in the area, etc. The room itself was extremely clean, and they'd provided a travel cot for our little one. The room came with 3 single beds, remote-controlled air-conditioning, and a small but modern bathroom. This place deserves a 5* rating!
