莫茨瓦利私人野生動物保護區度假村 - 紐馬克(Motswari Private Game Reserve by Newmark)

Un véritable joyau dans le Timbavati. Les chambres sont très confortables, préparées 2 fois par jour, la moustiquaire qui protège la zone lit est de toute beauté. Sans chichi ni luxe ostentatoire on y sent parfaitement bien, la baignoire dans la salle de bain permet de se prélasser les après midis entre 2 safaris. Les repas sont excellents, le petit déjeuner après le safaris du lever du jour est varié et les produits sont excellents. Le repas du midi (15h en fait) est réellement émouvant avec une arrivée du buffet porté par le personnel en véritable procession et sous les chants locaux. Le dîner peut se faire en différentes configurations entre BOMA, repas en groupe ou dans la zone dîner. Mais ce séjour n aurait pas été aussi extraordinaire sans la présence, le talent, la gentillesse, la connaissance et l humour de notre driver Hayden. C est quelqu un de vraiment extraordinaire qui a contribué à transformer notre semaine en Afrique du Sud d excellente à inoubliable. Il nous a permis de voir le big 5 au travers des 6 safaris qu on aura fait en sa compagnie, toujours à l écoute, même de ceux qui s expriment mal en anglais, il nous a donné plein d explications et toujours avec le sourire. Ma fille a déjà prévu de revenir au Motswari

We spent two nights at Motswari, and I must say, it would have been even better to stay for at least one more. My wife and I traveled to Motswari after a research meeting in Cape Town. We flew to JNB airport and rented a car; it was quite easy to reach the lodge. Although I was a bit worried about arriving in time for the evening game drive, we made it 45 minutes before the 4 PM deadline. The staff assured us that they would wait for us to start the game drive and suggested we have lunch before heading out. The food and accommodation were fantastic. We stayed in the Roan bungalow, considered one of the top accommodations, very close to the pool and bar. For 24 hours, we had the entire lodge at our disposal since we were the only guests in the entire lodge during the low season. We had three fantastic game drives with a very skilled tracker, Hendrik, and guide, Paul. My wife wanted to see lions, and they tracked a lion pride within 5 minutes of starting the game drive. I had a list of animals to see, and Paul and Hendrik managed to find almost all of them, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, wild dogs, etc., despite the rainy weather. We missed the leopard, and the entire fourth game drive was dedicated to finding it. Paul and Hendrik located it and saw it on foot, but it was tricky to reach with the car. I asked to see it on foot too, but they explained it was very dangerous. Regardless, I understand that it's not a zoo. I'm sure that with an extra day (and better weather), we would have seen the leopard. It was really hard to leave such a nice place with fantastic people! On the way back from the lodge to the airport, we had an additional game drive as we saw buffalos, kudus, and other animals. Finally, 5-10 km before exiting the Timbavati reserve, a huge herd of elephants crossed the road, and one even came close to our car (2-3m). In summary, this was the best trip I have ever taken! Hopefully, we will manage to come back. Thanks to all Motswari staff, and special thanks to Paul and Hendrik.

Die 2 Übernachtungen mit 4 Game Drives waren einmalig, besonders deshalb weil wir die Chance hatten den Löwen nahe zu sein, nachdem diese einen Wasserbüffel gejagt hatten. Auch zu erwähnen ist die liebevolle Gestaltung von Frühstück und Abendbrot außerhalb der Anlage.Wir vergeben hier gerne 5 ***** und werden wiederkommen.

Motswari far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the African safari experience. They average less than 30 guests, so everyone enjoys full attention from the staff. The food was really outstanding. Dining areas are breathtaking. They are all open air, and more often than not, wildlife is visible while dining. Staff was very attentive. Guide and tracker lead us not only to experience the big 5, but we watched lions devour a water buffalo! Accommodations were luxurious. Great shower pressure (very important to my husband), super comfortable bed, very clean rooms. Everything, everywhere, oozed top-notch safari. Rain, wind or sunny day, you won't be disappointed. We highly recommend Motawari.

Coming to Motswari for the first leg of our Honeymoon completely ruined us, our honeymoon and any future holiday we will take. Motswari completely imprints itself on your heart and will never leave you. If what you’re looking for is to feel part of a family, for everyone to make you feel welcome, to see the most incredible sights, taste the most incredible food and truly experience amazing culture then look no further than Motswari. With only 30 couples at a time the feel of Motswari is truly exclusive and all the more special. Our Guides Eden and Lot were absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable, we laughed, talked and learnt. The Sundowners on the evening drives are brilliant. I honestly can’t say anything bad about this place. We will be returning in 2025 and if we can, we really want to renew our vows in the place that stole our hearts!

A fantastic reserve and safari. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, the hotel is beautiful and the food exceptional. We had Eric and Difference as our guide and tracker and they made our trip. If you are looking for a safari experience then this is the place to book.

Nous y avons passé 3 nuits , lodge assez grand , 30 personnes environ. Assez facile d’accès depuis la route goudronnée mais on est en plein bush , sans barrière dans le camp, on vous accompagne la nuit pour aller dans votre chambre Bungalows assez anciens mais vastes et confortables, ambiance out of africa , très grand lit et excellente literie , préférence pour une chambre donnant sur la rivière . Breakfast et lunch à la véranda , belle vue sur la rivière où viennent des animaux , nourriture excellente , dîner au Boma autour du feu , romantique , cuisine un peu en dessous du lunch cependant. Formule all inclusive , boissons incluses. Personnel aux petits soins, c’est convivial et très sympathique. Guide ( Jérémie) et tracker ( Hendry) expérimentés et très sympathiques. Ils feront tout pour vous trouver les big five et les autres animaux dans cette grande réserve ouverte. Nous les avons tous vu mais il faut être parfois patient dans le bush Sur la route goudronnée traversant la réserve pour vous rendre au camp ouvrez bien les yeux .. au retour au bord de la route nous avons vu 2 rhino , 2 lions et hyènes et même des wild dogs que j’avais espéré voir lors des Safari mais sans succès .

This trip was a last minute booking for my husband and I. I cannot thank the team at Motswari enough. The accommodation was very comfortable and attention to detail the staff work on to make your stay as comfortable as possible is quite impressive. The food is excellent along with the entertainment. (local dancing) This lodge is a family run business with all the personal touches to make you feel welcome and at home. Our guides Paul and Difference were exceptional and a great team. On our first drive we saw a Leopard. ( the one animal of the big five that I hadn't seen) By day two we had seen all the big five animals. I would highly recommend this lodge. If you are traveling alone or as a couple they make sure you are made to feel very welcome.
