埃德蒙頓青年旅社 - 旅館(HI Edmonton - Hostel)

Perfect for those who are travelling on a budget. It’s clean and has all the facilities that you would need including free wi-fi. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Good location, bars, restaurants and shops are all a few minutes walk away. Also there is a bus stop near by if you want to go to the Mail or just into the City Centre, you could walk it if you’re feeling energetic.

I stayed for a few days in a private room while at a conference in Edmonton. The room was clean and comfortable but very basic. That didn't worry me but I can understand why some might give it three stars. The location is excellent in the nightlife area of Old Strathcona close to bars, restaurants and other facilities. The area is well supplied with public transport options for getting around the place. I also enjoyed the free pool table when I had a few minutes on my hands.

It was in some areas excellent, it was affordable, it was clean, it was a smoke-free area, has some amenities, but lacking in other areas, no TV in rooms or common area, bathroom wasn't conveniently located on same floor as my room, not much entertainment other than a room with a pool table, and a ping-pong table, snacks were exorbitantly priced, drinks were fair-priced. overall, it was okay.
