普利米爾愛丁堡東部飯店(Premier Inn Edinburgh East)

佈滿黑色黴菌。聞起來很臭。到城鎮的交通很方便，早餐也很好。工作人員很友好，但房間很髒。到達時沒有註意到，但窗戶是開著的，所以在睡覺前把它關上，因為很冷。晚上醒來，發現有強烈的霉味和潮濕味。白天可以看到有很多黑色黴菌。出發時告訴前台的小伙子。他很友好，但只是說這棟建築很舊，而且經常出現黴菌問題。

Several factors needed some attention. Shower curtain was mouldy. Lamp shade damaged. Paint peeling in several places. Location is a 10 minute bus ride with regular buses to Princes St, and the Tesco at the petrol station is open 6am-midnight 7 days a week which came in handy. Shower head was epic and the complimentary soap and shower gel is really nice. Not the worst stay I've had but I wouldn't stay here again.

My room had bed bugs and the issue was not sorted when I reported it. Half-way through my stay I noticed that I had been bitten in the night and my bedding was stained with bed bug excrement. My window could not open so the insects came from within the room. I will spare you the photographs of my back with rows of bed bug bites; they are unequivocal and developed further in the days following my stay (as is the lifecycle of bed bug bites.) When I reported all this to reception — long before I was due to check-out — they told me that they could not move me to a different room, they could not refund me for the remaining nights so I could stay elsewhere, and they could not escalate the issue themselves. The staff were lovely and sympathetic to my marks, the evidence of bed bugs on my bedding and they tried to repair my window (so I could sleep in more tolerable temperature and cover more skin) to no avail. I emailed Whitbread, as instructed, to complain. Despite the promise of a reply within 10 days, the time has passed and I am yet to hear back. I stayed in this hotel for (relatively) cheap accommodation during the Edinburgh Festival. I have now spent considerable money fumigating all my clothes, bags and possessions before bringing them back into my home. I didn’t expect much from this hotel, but preventing bed bugs (or taking a single piece of action upon the discovery of bed bugs) ought to be the bare minimum. I am appalled and advise you to avoid Premier Inn Edinburgh East or any of its cousins.

Great stay, free car parking, the bus takes you in to Edinburgh City, Great location for Edinburgh playhouse and also to do some shopping or even if visiting the Christmas Market. Older style hotel but has everything you need.

Wanted to be near the old town but not so near it was loud at night so for us this was perfect! Plus close to Arthur’s seat! Staff were great. Room was clean and tidy. Shower was fab! Only thing was it was a bit hot at night cause air con didn’t work but they gave us a fan. Food and drink was great too 👍🏻 Would come back!

Arrived at 3pm for checking in as advised on booking. Room was not ready so told had to wait in bar. Asked for a free drink while waiting but was refused. Room eventually ready at 420pm so we missed our restaurant booking. Not happy with the experience as this spoilt the weekend.

This place is great lovely staff and really friendly Don’t be put off by being just outside of the city You can get a bus outside the hotel 44 or the 113 cost £2 and your in the city in less than 20 minutes The bus service is great and it stops outside on the way back Loads too do in the city Get off the bus at Waverley station cross the road and go up any of the side streets for bars and restaurants

Great hotel that was cheaper than the city centre ones with a bus stop and small Tesco right outside. Bus into the city took 10-15 minutes and was pretty regular. Portobello beach and Figgate park are both nearby and worth a visit. We stayed in a family room which was fairly basic and dated but clean and comfortable which is all we needed. Staff were very helpful and so lovely to my very chatty 5 year old! As other reviews state the restaurant isn’t great and I found the staff a little unwelcoming although the food was fine. Breakfast was good and we came across at least one staff member who was lovely. On the whole I’d definitely stay again as it was great value for the price we paid.
