喬治亞旅館(Georgian Guest House)

A very attractive Georgian Guest House with excellent, comfortable facilities and exceptional period décor and furnishings offering a high degree of comfort. Pam and Doug are excellent hosts and are very knowledgeable about the local area, which was particularly helpful for visiting the many tourist facilities in the city by bus. On street parking was convenient, directly in front of the house. Portobello (Edinburgh’s lengthy beach) was within a ten-minute walk. The continental breakfast was varied and plentiful. We had an extremely comfortable room and bathroom. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay there again, the next time we are in Edinburgh. Highly recommended and exceptional value.

A very comfortable stay with wonderful helpful hosts. The house has many of the original features and has been beautifully maintained and decorated. Cleanliness is obviously a priority. We highly recommend this charming get away from the bustle of the city.

When we arrived at the Georgian Guest House it turned out that *********** had cancelled the prebooked arrangement more or less directly after confirming it. Of course *********** had send this cancellation to me by email. However this email did not reach me. So we arrived at the Georgian Guest house and it was already fully booked. At that time Edinburgh's hotel capacity was booked at 98,5%. Although Pam was definitely not to blame for this and although she was not going to do any business with us (as they were already 100% booked) she was very friendly and helped us a full hour to find a different place to stay. Also I had some mail forwarded to Georgian Guesthouse. Obviously this would not reach me. Pam actually forwarded the mail to the other hotel then. While we were searching for an alternative hotel I could get some glimpse of how this looks inside. If we visit Edinburgh any time soon I will try to book this again. I am absolutely sure that this is one of the best places to stay in Edinburgh.
