OYO卡爾頓庭飯店(OYO Carlton Court Hotel)

Newly refurbished. Room small, mattresses worn out, no tea/coffee in room but a kettle? 2am. Doors banging, people in and out of their rooms. Thin walls, and you can hear someone's TV on all through the night. Won't be coming back that's for sure.

Always get a welcome greeting upon arrival, The room we stayed in was clean and well maintained. The staff are very polite as well, Excellent location if you are going to the theatre. We have stayed here several times and I wouldn't go elsewhere in Eastbourne. I can't find any faults about this hotel.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and friendly staff. I certainly don't have any problems with the hotel. I certainly would recommend this hotel to people looking for a stay, Believe me there are other hotels in Eastbourne that are not nice to stay in Because I have stayed in them. As I can see people already slagging the Carlton Hotel down. They are getting the Bar ready to install more pumps for different Drinks. They Don't serve Breakfast like listed on here on TripAdvisor. But certainly don't worry about previous reviews above about the Carlton Hotel.

2 night stay. You get what you pay for! My priority was cleanliness and it was. Was very hot so didn't touch the open windows. The room was huge with a large sofa bed, coffee table and 2 chairs. We were on the front corner with 2 bay windows on 3rd floor, so had a view of the beach. Small very slow life but it did the job. Kettle and cups but no tea bags, coffee, milk. We bought some but was such hot weather it went sour in the day. 2 Min walk from the beach, 2min walk from a street of restaurants starting with breakfast & newsagents. The Towner Gallery is literally across the street as is the heritage museum. No street noise & we'd stayed Saturday & Sunday nights. On our experience I would stay again.

Single handedly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in but not for the reasons you would usually write a bad review. The location of the hotel was perfect. A stones throw away from the theatre. Wonderful but that is where it ends. The proprietors of this hotel will do anything at all to save money. If you have any kind of mobility issues or like to watch TV In your room, u wont be able to as tv is not tuned in! windows open on a hot day... nope they are stuck fast!! do not bother staying here. We asked to use the lift and it was too much trouble and the manager made such a massive thing about letting us use it!! He used the excuse that he " turns it off" because the kids play with it. Iv never ever heard anything so ridiculous. Sort those kids out then!! You were more than happy to take our money! They won't care anyway and it's all about saving money. Room and towels absolutely reek of bleach. A hotel with such potential location wise but the owner or manager isn't bothered either way.
