This is one of the best bed-and-breakfast locations my husband and I have ever stayed in! I have been eyeing this location for years, and regret not having gone sooner. The photos on the website do not do it justice. The owner, Al, has done an exceptional job creating a first class B and B in the heart of downtown East Lansing. He even came out and cleared snow off of our car in the morning. The breakfast was five stars and the rooms are extremely special. We loved the fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, and balcony. We can't wait to come back and use the courtyard in the summer. We are already looking at booking our next stay!

We loved the room we stayed in “spring meadow”! We stayed two nights. It was a very relaxing anniversary for my wife and I. We loved the food each morning. I got the omelette one morning and the English French toast the next. My wife got scrambled eggs and a omelette. All truly excellent. We did a lot of reading and relaxing which was very needed for us. It’s in a good spot in town close to restaurants and shops. The owner/staff were beyond kind and helpful. Highly recommend the wild goose inn!

This was our second stay at the Wild Goose. Both times, the rooms (two different ones) were clean and comfortable with attention to detail, amenities, and quirky, delightful architectural features. This room, the Indian Sunset, had its own private patio with an umbrella table and gorgeous flowers. Fresh flowers were in the room too. The breakfast is delicious and Yogi the sweet dog may watch you eat occasionally, but he never begs! I'm an early riser, and Al found me in an alcove in the morning and served me a tray of coffee before breakfast. I didn't even ask! The location is SO walkable to many MSU and E. Lansing destinations! We were there for the Summer Solstice Jazz Fest and it was a perfect stay. We'll be back.

excellent stay, very friendly staff. Al is extremely good with customers. Morning breakfast was ultimate. Yogi- golden doodle is an amazing dog. The rooms are unique. it is a different type of homely feeling. It is close to medical center and very nice hotels

The Wild Goose Inn was an absolute delight. The rooms, showers, and jacuzzi were all so perfect and so relaxing. Breakfast was great, with exceptional service. And it is right across from the Broad Museum and the Saper Gallery. I was sad to leave.

The Wild Goose Inn has an early 20th century arts & crafts era vibe with great modern amenities. The beds are comfortable, the soaking tubs divine, and you won't leave the breakfast table hungry! Al is a gracious host and innkeeper, and likewise his staff (Jack and Paul when we were there). Everyone is friendly and helpful; sincerely so. It was a perfect blend of feeling both at home and pampered.
