The room was nice enough and what a great view but the heat didn’t work well and it was because the patio door didn’t close properly. The patio door had a huge gap in the top of the door and the cold air and snow was literally blowing in the room. I had to put a washcloth in the door to keep the wind and snow from blowing in. It resulted in the room being about 55 degrees and I had to literally sleep in my down coat and ski hat. It took hours to get the temperature up and there were no blankets in the room just a sheet and a very thin duvet sheet. The management needs to replace the patio door because the next guest will definitely ask to move rooms if they get that one. The curtains were also filthy and full of stains. Not a great experience.

Ok, the view and beach are nice but there are a lot of issues these reviewers are conveniently leaving out. 4 floors, no elevators. Hope you don’t have much luggage. No daily housekeeping service, including towels. Bring your own vacuum cleaner. Plastic glasses. No shower soap. The toilet has no suction and takes many flushes to get rid of just toilet paper. Lobby is the size of a phone booth so no services other than a coffee machine and a token breakfast. Stairwell needs painting. Bed is comfort and room spacious. That’s a lot of money for what seems like a Holiday Inn.

This place is very special. The location is spectacular. The rooms are comfortable bright and airy, opening straight onto Lake Michigan( which you can gaze at from the in room jacuzzi) Staff are always helpful, caring and accommodating. This was a return visit and they graciously helped with a special request for a special occasion which made the stay perfect. Will definitely be back. Thank you all.

The place was fair priced, but our room seemed outdated and had some issues. I will attach pictures. Whirlpool Was extremely old with well used controls. Heating system had loose register covers. paint peeling, thermostat was not working properly. Didn’t show actual temperature. Shades by the sliding door were miss matched. and didn’t close properly which isn’t good when your bed is in that room along with the whirlpool tub. No privacy. Toilet seat was very old and discolored. They didn’t shovel the snow during morning breakfast there was a large drift between the rooms in the breakfast area/check-in. Breakfast was adequate. They need to put a little bit of time and money into their rooms.

We absolutely love this hotel! The rooms are always clean and well-maintained, and it's clear that the management truly cares about the property. I definitely recommend staying here if you come to town. It is located not too far from down town Traverse city and close to the ******.

The front desk is friendly and helpful but beside that, this is not a great hotel. Extremely outdated. Not clean. There were spider webs in several areas of our room. The jacuzzi had hair in it. The breakfast was just grab and go items. The bed sheets were stained. I do not recommend.

Very outdated room, not maintained. Spiders and webs in the corners and on the ceiling. Hair in the jacuzzi and on the floor. Saying breakfast is included is a stretch, I would say snacks included. Front desk gentleman was very kind and professional.

No elevator in the one building which was not told to us when we checked in. My husband and I both have bad backs and knee issues so humping luggage and going up and down the stairs for venturing out was not pleasant. We also paid extra for a Bayfront room and we got a view from the side of the building that was blocked by both buildings so paid extra for nothing. As far as the room, It was studio and spacious with a small kitchen area and clean.
