Enjoyed our stay thanks to the microtel employees. I would definitely recommend and return for future trips. They even welcomed my dog (who may seem scary but is a sweet girl and service animal)

This property is the dirtiest property I have stayed at. I travel a lot for leisure and often stay at hotel close to home when I am studying for finals. This hotel is by far the most run down, and dirtiest property I have stayed at. I am glad I was only there to study because I don’t sleep much so the few times I napped it was on the couch in my clothes as I was not confident the sheets had been cleaned. The housekeeper was super sweet and did get me some clean extra blanket for the couch. I would not recommend this hotel even if it’s for a quick stay.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the bed was comfortable. But the room was dirty, the same light was burned out during two stays one month apart, the window wouldn’t open, and the handicap access and stairs weren’t shoveled for the two days I was there. They offer a very good price deal but sometimes the stay is barely tolerable when filth is found on the floor and in the bathroom.

There was breakfast every morning and the bed sheets and towels appeared to be clean. And for $44/night it was somewhere to stay semi-last minute but those are really the only positives. The room in general was not very clean. There were spills and stains on the walls, the carpet & baseboards looked very dirty and there might've been a blood stain. There was a hole in shower wall like someone hit it with a hammer. The kleenex and toilet paper were empty when I got there. The room i stayed in was loud at all hours of the night with the door to the stairwell slamming shut and shaking my room plus super loud stomping footsteps. The front desk and staff were friendly but there was one lady in particular that was always in her office. We spent a lot of time in the lobby and whenever someone was checking in or needed assistance at the front desk the lady was never available and i noticed people were annoyed having to wait or had to call her to help them. On my last day they shut the water off to my room to make some plumbing fixes. I went down for breakfast at 9 and there were no signs up but when i came down to out at 11 the signs were there but had been too late to shower, unsure if it was planned or an emergency but quite inconvenient to have no notice besides a sign on doors in the lobby. If you don't mind a little uncleanliness or the bare minimum this place is for you.

I stay at this hotel quite frequently on my trips to Anchorage as I live in Soldotna Ak and would recomend giving this hotel try as I have never been woken up one time which is unbelievable as I stay mostly on weekends but believe me after you give it a try but dont tell to many or it will be sold out and I will be looking for one just like this hidden gem!!!!

Added this hotel on the list of places not to stay. No bell to notify clerk had to say excuse me loudly because they were watching Star Trek. Did not realize there were no coffee pots, hair dryers, or fridge in the room until after we checked in. Nor was there coffee available in the lobby other than during breakfast which was minimal, so we ate out. The thermostat was a knob on the baseboard heater. The rooms were fairly clean but need to be updated and things replaced, like the pillows and curtains. I will make sure that I check more closely for amenities in the future.

This place is a dump - drapes torn and not attached to frame, broken cabinet door next to fridge, carpet stained/dirty. It has gone down hill since I last stayed here a year ago. Staff was apologetic, but not helpful or not available. Going to an air bnb next year.

Ive stayed here before. I like its spot and its a good place for me to stay. We had an incident happen in our room in the middle of the night but the guy at the counter was kind enough to get us a new room ASAP. My friend was a little more critical of the rooms flaws.
